Bwthyn Cerrig (stone cottage) is a delightful former fisherman's cottage set within the medieval town walls of Conwy. The cottage has recently undergone a program of refurbishment and redecoration, it sleeps three people in two bedrooms one single, one double, plus a travel cot is available if required. There is a comfortable lounge/diner, fitted kitchen and a shower room, all tastefully decorated. The sunny secluded rear courtyard is the ideal place to relax with a coffee or a glass of wine!

Conwy is ideal for non-drivers as the transport system is excellent. The town walls enclose the town and whilst walking around the walls the views are breathtaking. Bodlondeb Park and free tennis courts are close by, the smallest house is just on the quay. There are two golf courses locally Conwy-2 miles or LLandudno-4 miles, Conwy Butterfly Jungle, Conwy Visitor Centre, the RSPB Bird Sanctuary are all well worth a visit. There is a Multiplex Cinema and a Leisure Centre in LLandudno Junction. The beautiful Victorian town of Llandudno is just 10 minutes away. Attractions further away are Betws-y-Coed,Llechwedd Slated Caverns, Sygun Copper Mines,Llanberis Lake Railway, Portmeirion and Castles in Beaumaris and Caernarfon. Snowdon is only half an hour away for superb walking and views.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The changeover day is Saturday, however this is flexible. Short/Mid Week breaks available from £45 per night (min 2 nights). All prices include electricity, heating, fresh towels and bed linen. A Non Refundable deposit of £100 for a week and £50 for short break is required to confirm booking. The balance is due four weeks prior to arrival. Payments can be made by cheque or bank transfer. If you would like to view the cottage before your stay please let me know. This is a locally owned and personally managed cottage. Due to narrow doorways, the cottage is unsuitable for wheelchairs-sorry. If you have any queries or special requirements please contact me and I will do my best to help.

Conwy is an ideal base, there is easy access to all the amenities, the cottage is on a very quiet street two minutes walk from the town centre which has lovely shops, tearooms, restaurants and places of interest to visit. Also, the 13th Century Castle is just on the doorstep and a walk around the walls provides a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding area and mountains. Conwy is on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and within easy reach of Snowdon and the extensive mountain ranges being only half an hours drive away. The Railway Station is a minutes walk away and there are bus stops within 50 yards of the cottage.
