Maison Circaud is a picturesque stones cottage set in a beautifull rural area. Set on its owns on a hilly position it enjoys panoramic views over the fiels and countryside. This old farm dating from the XVIII century has been restored to provide a spacious and confortable accomodation whilst retaining its character. It enjoys a large grassy garden with table and chairs to dine outside al fresco and lovely stones outbuildings. It also have the benefits of a shared 10mx6m swimming-pool set 1km away from the house. If your are looking for calm and romantic hideaway all to yourselves in the heart of the French countryside, Circaud is the perfect find!

The historic village of Belves, voted 'one of the beautifull village of France', with shops, restaurants and supermarket, is only 3 miles away. It has a large attractive and colored market on the Wenesday and saturday morning. If you like walking, water sports, horse-riding or cycling, you'll find what you're looking for in the hills and valleys that are so much part of the Périgord region. Golfers also have a 18 holes course only 10 minutes drive away at Le Golf de L'olivarie (www.golfdelolivarie.com) The more adventurouse can enjoy Quad-Biking, Go-Karting, or taking to the rivers in a Canoe or Kayak. Additional information about rental rates

  • Changeover day is Saturday, althought we are flexible in May, June and September
    Arrivals - Saturday afternoon from 4.00pm to 7.00pm
    Departures - Saturday morning by 10.00pm
  • Guets are requested to leave the proprety in a clean and tidy condition ready for the next guets. A cleaning service is available, if required, at a cost of 80 Euros, payable locally to our agent. Please advise when booking if you require this service.
    Bed linen and Towels are avaialble at extra cost:
    12€ per bed, 6€ per towel set (hand and bath towels)
    Please indicate if ou wish to hire them when booking, payable in full on arrival

    During cooler periods, an efficient electric heating system keeps you warm (extra to be paid locally according to use).
  • 30% deposit with booking. Remainder to be apid weeks before arrival

    Breakage deposit of 300 Euros to be paid on arrival, returnable on departure.

    No smoking inside cottage please.

    Pet are welcome prior agrement

Set on one level, the house comprises : a large kitchen fully equipped (oven, microwaves, dishwasher, washing machine...) with a table and chairs for breakfasts, a cosy living room with wooden floors, exposed beams and stones walls. It is equipped with sofas, huge traditonal fireplace, basic TV chanels and has a large wooden table and chairs to seat 8 guests. A first double bedded room, a twin bedroom with direct access to the garden, inter-connected is a second double bedroom, a family bathroom with a new shower unit, a sink and a bidet, separate toilets.

Surrondings : Outside is a large grassy garden equiped with table chairs and BBQ to dine al fresco. It is a great place for children to stay The cottage is set on a hilly position, from which you have a beautifull views over the countryside. For Nature lovers, the area abounds of animal : deers, birds, woodpeakers... for walkers, there are many footpaths starting from the cottage

The pool: The pool is set 1km from the house, at a convenient 3 minutes drive from the house. It is to be shared with the guests of 2 other gites. It is 10mx5m and is ideal for children. It is very sunny all day round and enjoys a magnificient views over the valley.
