This fabulous traditional Quercy farmhouse has been furnished to an exceptional standard. It has maintained traditional rustic character with modern comforts. Internally there are beamed ceilings, exposed stone and wood floors. It has central heating throughout so is also perfect for a week away in the autumn and winter. There is a private swimming pool for sole use of the guests. The furniture is a combination of both antique and modern giving the property a typically french feel.

Labastide Murat is a pretty bastide village founded in the 13th century, set in the stunning Causse National Park, renowned for its beautiful oak and juniper forests attracting various species of flora and fauna including many unusual butterflies, birds, deer and wild boar. There are sites of interest within easy reach of the village including St-Cirq-Lapopie, Rocamadour, Grotte du Pech-Merle, Puy-l'Eveque and Cahors. The village is well served with several restaurant/bars, traditional farmers market, tennis courts, church, tourist office/library, bakers, butchers, hair salon, post-office, doctors, supermarket all of which are a within a 5 minute walk from the property.

  • Changeover day is Saturday, althought we are flexible in May, June and September
    Arrivals - Saturday afternoon from 4.00pm to 7.00pm
    Departures - Saturday morniig by 10.00am
  • Please note price are indicated in UK Pounds. Payment in € can also be arranged
    Guests are requested to leae the proprety in a clean and tidy condition for the next guets. A cleaning service is available, if required, at a cost of 90 Euros, payable locally to our agent. Please advise when booking if you require this service

    Bed linen and Towels are incl into the price.

    During cooler periods, an efficient electric heating system keeps you warm (extra to be paid locally according to use).
  • 33% Deposit with booking. Remainder to be paid 2 months before arrival

    Breakage deposit of £250 to be paid on arrival, returnable on departure.

    Cot and Highchair are available on request
    No smoking or animals are permitted in the proprety at any times. We request that you are fully insured against cancellation.

The entrance leads into the large country farmhouse kitchen/diner which is fully equipped including a dishwasher. It has a dining table with 6 comfortable chairs. There are exposed beams and exposed stone walls in this large room. From the kitchen you can access the beautiful dual aspect sitting room with views over the land and private swimming pool, again this room has been furnished with antique furniture in a typically French style. The property has Sky Freeview so you can access a variety of UK TV channels as well as a DVD Player. There is also a cloakroom on this floor. Upstairs are two bedrooms and two en suite bathrooms. One bedroom has a canopied double bed and the other bedroom has two large twin beds. Both of these bedrooms have en suite shower rooms with toilets. The third bedroom has independent access from the outside and is very spacious with an antique half tester bed furnished with French toile fabric. There is an en suite shower room and toilet.

La Grange has a private terrace to enjoy alfresco dining and also benefits from exclusive use of a private swimming pool.
