Perfect holiday

Salty Dog is a lovely cottage, everything you need plus a hot tub.!! Great for relaxing after a hard day in the surf. Great quiet location within the village. Linda (owner) is friendly and helpful and on hand if needed.
Porthtowan is an excellent base, beach 2 mins walk away with handy local shops and bars with great food. And larger towns within easy driving distance for larger shops and great tourist attractions. Will definatley be back.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Great time and lovely owner

Had a lovely stay in this cottage last September 2010. Cottage is bigger inside than it looks from the outside and is nicely presented. We have a toddler and the accomodation was very flexible. Any problems (due to wear & tear) with the property were put right asap by the owner Linda who was very approachable and efficient. The spa pool was great for us with a little one as it made the evenings in that bit more special!
Small hill down to the sea, but this was ok even with a pram to push. Beach is lovely, with some rock pools.The Blue Bar serves great food all day and is child friendly with lovely views to the sea, and live music some nights. Would highly recommend and would definately visit again.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway
