Beautiful luxury 3 bedroom apartment located in the picturesque town of Tavira. Designed with comfort in mind this apartment is ideal for families or a group of individuals such as golfers. Just a short stroll from the town centre and not far from the stunning white sandy beaches of the Algarve this apartment is in the ideal location for your holiday needs. Fully fitted kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, hob, oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans. Leather suite in lounge. 42' TV that shows many UK TV stations inc BBC, ITV, C4 & C5. UK & Irish Radio stations. Tastefully decorated bedrooms that can either be single or double beds. Main bedroom has en-suite shower & WC. Bathroom has bath with shower over, WC, bidet. Please be aware that the apartment is part of an ongoing development, it is not a building site as our apartment is complete but other parts of the area are being worked on. The builder ensures noise and dust are kept to a minimum.

Tavira is a quiet town during the day and night. If it is nightclubbing you want avoid Tavira. Tavira has fantastic seafood restaurants, beautiful town walks, bars, cafes but only one nightclub and you will be hard stretched to find it, we never have! Spain is 20 miles away, Vilamoura with its marina and golf 40 minutes away. The market town of Loule is a short drive from the apartment, Saturdays in Loule are a must for the extensive market. Closer to Tavira are some of the most beautiful and picturesque small towns and villages you will find on the Algarve. The beaches are stunning, white sand that stretches for miles and a nature reserve that doubles as the beach. The architecture of Tavira is preserved and restrictions on further building means that it will always remain special. Some of thw churches are magnificent. A new shopping centre has been built but within walking distance is Aldi and Lidl as well as many local stores. The town centre is a short walk away.

Quinta do Caracol: The apartment is on the Ground Floor but has locking security shutters, security alarm*, a safe and a secure entryphone system. The kitchen is fully fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, table for six people. Also provided is a kettle, toaster, crockery and utensils. The kitchen leads out on to the huge walled veranda with its built-in Barbecue. The veranda is massive measuring 72 m², we have provided sun loungers, a large table and chairs for outdoor eating. *Security system by pre-arrangement

Linen and towels (including pool towels) are provided and are very high quality. Our management company cleans the property thoroughly before you stay at the apartment. Linens changed every 7 days. They are also on call in case of emergency (charges apply for non-emergency calls). The lounge is tastefully decorated with a leather suite, 42 inch television that receives UK programmes, a DVD player and a central music entertainment system. The lounge opens on to a balcony that looks towards the sea in the distance. The balcony is supplied with a table and six chairs. The lounge and all bedrooms are fitted with air conditioning/heating systems. A second WC contains a bath, shower, sink, bidet, fitted hairdryer and heated towel rail. If you realy need it there is a steam iron, ironing board and central vacuum system. Ample parking space is provided at the front of the property. Guests have use of the communal swimming pool at the location.

Golf: The Algarve is a golfers paradise. So many courses close by you can play every day on a different course for a year

We have stayed in many appartments and villas over the years and this one represents excellent value for ,money. It is spacious, well equipt, and was well presented by the agent. There are 2 supermarkets close by (Aldi & Lidl) and the train station is also close. On the subject of trains, the rail traffic is light and not intrusive. The handy thing about being close to the station is it makes visiting other places very easy and cheap.
Other noise that you need to aware of is the "air raid" type siren that sounds at 8.00 and 17.00 Monday to Friday. This is basically to alert the city that it is the start of the working day and the end. The siren is very close to the appartment but we just accepted it and thought it rather funny. There is also a joinery workshop at the rear of the appartments and the noise from this is rather like DIY noise you get at home and again was not a problem for us. So if you are after complete tranquility spend the day on the fantastic beaches on Isla Taveria!
The appartment has a fantastic terrace with a great bar b que, plenty of room for everyone. Make sure you are shown the way to access the shared pool, it is not abundently clear otherewise.
Taveria is a lovely place and we will return. We would be very happy to stay at this appartment again. One thing that we do feel the appartment needs is a radio/cd player for the terrace/patio area.

The factory has been very busy lately it is normally quiet.
