Photos and Description of this Calabria holiday condo

Built on a stretch of land that is part of Baron Giovanni Fazio’s property called "La Bruca", our condo is located in Santa Maria del Cedro, only 5 km (2.5 miles) south of Scalea. The condo was built in rigorous respect of traditional calabrese farm house architecture and is surrounded by a lush vegetation of eucalyptus, buganvillea, poplars and oleanders, all perfectly kept by our wonderful, greatly trusted gardener, Giovanni. It is a place of total relaxation for the adults and absolute safety for the children.

"Five" is a charming ground floor apartment with front and rear porch overlooking the communal garden. It is on two levels and is made up of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an open kitchen. It sleeps five, yet two extras can be accomodated since the couch folds out into a double bed. The rear porch is equipped with a long stonetop table with benches to eat outside and a movable BBQ. For those of you who love sports, the property has horseback riding facilities, and tennis courses only a walk away. There is a nine hole golf course in the area as well. Trecking and rafting services are available in Scalea. A short 400 meter walk will take you to a beautiful long white beach protected by high sand dunes. You will enjoy complete peace and relaxation here.

The “Marina dei Pioppi” beach resort located at the entrance to the beach, is fully operative in the months of July and August offering, other than the regular beach services also the possibility to be served light lunches right near the water. Yet, during the off season months the owners will always be there to assist.
