Lavande Cottage is situated in a quiet and tranquil farmland area in the hamlet of Le Plessis Corbeil, and close to Maché. It is within short driving distance of the beautiful Vendéen beaches at St Gilles Croix de Vie, St Jean de Monts and Les Sables. Bars, restuarants and shopping are available in Maché or nearby Aizenay or Aprémont. The Lac d'Aprémont is just a short walk from the cottage, and more lake facilities are nearby at Aprémont. Many cycle-ways are nearby, and golf and horse-riding are not far away.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Weekly charges includes all bed linen, towels, electricity, water and bottled gas. There are no hidden extras! The weeks run from 1600 hrs on Saturday to 1000 hrs on the following Saturday. £100 deposit secures a booking, with the balance due 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. We will endevour to be flexible, particularly out of high season, when also shorter breaks or long term lets would be available.

The cottage is a +200 year old 'Vendéen Long House' and has a large lounge with dining area, complete with a log burner for those chilly days. There is also electric convector heaters throughout. There is UK & French Satellite TV with PVR, and a DVD player. The galley style kitchen is well equiped with everything you should need including table, cooker, fridgefreezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is a large double bedroom which leads off to a small dressing room where there is a comfortable double sofa bed. A cot, high chair and playpen are available. The bathroom has a full size bath complete with shower unit, wash hand basin and a washing machine. There is a seperate toilet. There is a large, private garden, with patio area complete with garden furniture and a barbeque. The nearby village of Maché has a church, boulangerie, mini supermarket, 2 bars, hairdresser, garage, heated swimming pool, tennis courts and an internet café
