Venalmar is a small unique development of townhomes & houses that have been divided to form ground & first floor apartments. A gated development with direct access to the beach, the apartment has 3 large en-suite bedrooms (the master affords a double bed plus additional single bed), with a 50sqm south facing terrace with both formal dining and informal sofa seating that overlooks the extensive subtropical gardens and swimming pool.

Close by there are 2 children's playgrounds & 3 beach bar/restaurants. A 10 min walk to Benavista's many shops, restaurants and bars (including the Robin Hood) it is close to many golf courses, and whilst it has many family activities, the Puerto Banus nightlife is closeby. Ideal for an combination of peaceful relaxation and family leisure in one of the best complexes close to Marbella.

Venalmar is situated beachfront directly behind the Crown Plaza Hotel. As well as our three chiringuitos (beach-bar restaurants) that are on our nearby beach, it is also a short walk to the many excellent restaurants and bars that are just outside of Venalmar. Covering a wide range of cuisines, they include Spanish, British, Italian, Lebanese, Moroccan, Chinese, Indian and French.. Most of them also have outdoor gardens and terraces which are wonderful places to dine under the stars on warm summer nights and are open throughout the year.

  • Prices are for the property per week in £ sterling. We will happily accept euros at the exchange rate on the day. All security deposits will be returned in either sterling or euros. Other currencies will only be accepted by prior arrangement.

    Half term and Bank Holidays such as Christmas and Easter may well be charged at a higher rate so please check directly.

    Quoted rates are maximum occupancy of 7 people, 7 nights.

    We are flexible depending on other confirmed bookings . Arrival time is 4pm and departure on the day is by 10am although we can be flexible wherever possible.

    Booking notes
    A deposit of 20% is requested following the booking confirmation with the balance payable 8 weeks prior to arrival.

    Security deposit
    An additional £200 security deposit is payable 2 weeks prior and is refunded within 7 days of departure subject to no breakages. Any damages/breakages will be deducted from the security deposi

Notes: Venalmar is much larger than many of the apartments on this coast and is much more private and peaceful due to the unique smaller community. Please note that Venalma is a first floor apartment, not a ground floor apartment, so Parents must supervise their children at all times and never allow them onto balconies and terraces alone. Please also note that this is a small community with many owners living on the complex permanently, therefore we ask that you respect other residents during your stay. The swimming pool area complies with all health and safety requirements and there is no jumping or diving allowed. Signs are in place clearly stating this.

Our very spacious and comfortable lounge/dining room has 2 sofas, 6 seater dining table, feature fireplace, satellite television with English channels, DVD, video, mini hi-fi with CD and cassette player, opens directly to the large terrace which also has a 4 seater outdoor dining table and a sofa & seating area on the balcony. There is a separate WC in the large entrance hall. The bedrooms are all well proportioned comfortably fitting twin beds in two of the rooms and a double bed and additional single bed in the main bedroom, handy for those with small children. The main bedroom and one twin are accessible off the large terrace with the 3rd bedroom having views of the mountains behind. The spacious bedrooms and living space offer a privacy not typically found in new build apartments on the coast.

The apartment has both hot air conditioning (for cooler winter months) and cold air conditioning for the warm heat of summer and fair usage is included within the cost of the rental. However, the large bedrooms and electronic shutters and the fact that the property benefits from the gentle cool night breeze coming in from the sea mean that air con is not necessary for those that prefer a more natural air flow. If sleep is important to you then make sure you ask the question before booking any apartment as small bedrooms + no air con = very little sleep normally!!

The terrace overlooks the landscaped gardens and pool area and is not attached to the adjoining property providing a degree of privacy that few apartments in this region can offer.

Ski:

The nearest ski region is the Sierra Nevada mountains located in Granada Province. Approximately 90 minutes drive from Venalmar.

Golf:

Venalmar is centrally located for the many glf courses stretching from Benalmadena to Sotogrande.

STUNNING BEACH-FRONTED PROPERTY

Myself, my partner and my daughter have stayed in this wonderful apartment a number of times over the past few years and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

The location is fantastic, a few metre from the beach and very close to large towns of Estepona and Puerto Banus. Loads of fab bars and restaurants within walking distance.

The complex itself is very private. The grounds are stunning and fantastically maintained with lush green grass and beautiful trees and flowers surrounding the pool area and apartments. The pool is large enough to have a decent swim with a smaller shallower section for young children. Most of the properties are residentail meaning that quite often you are the only people around the pool so it was like having your own private landscaped gardens and pool to relax in - absolute bliss. You could hear the sound of the waves crashing onto the beach from the pool and the apartment terrace!

The apartment itself is larger than any I have ever stayed in and more comparable to a large villa. The living/dining area is huge and this is replicated again on the outside terrace with space to dine and also wonderful comfy seating to relax in with a drink or two! Each of the bedrooms has a beautiful full marble bathroom and an abundance of wardrobe space. The decor is lovely and everywhere is tastefully decorated.

When my daughter wasn't having fun in the pool by day we visited the water park, selwo safari park and the zoo. The evenings were spent in local bars and excellent restaurants (take your pick from Spanish, Chinese, Indian, English, Lebanesse, Italian...the list goes on) and also by the marina in Estapona and Puerto Banus and Orange Square in Marbella is also well worth a visit. If you fancy staying in one evening then most restaurants do a take-away service and it was lovely some evenings just relaxing on the terrace with a take-away and a bottle of wine!

We have never tired of visiting this gorgeous apartment and plan to do so many more times in the future! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to treat themselves to relaxing, beautiful, 5 star luxury without necessarily paying 5 star prices!

To sum it up in one word - WONDERFUL!

Best Vacation Ever ! ! !

We have just returned from a 3 weeks stay (first 3 weeks of August 2010) at Andrea's apartment.(Me, the wife, and our five kids ages 13 to 8 month)
I will try to write a detailed review of the apartment and the complex;
The apartment is located in a stunning and private complex, behind the Crown Plaza hotel (that has a public internet loung should you need it). The complex is within walking distance of a rediculous number of bars and restaurants, reducing the need to drive. The complex sits close to both Estepona and Marbella town, as well as Porto Banus.
The complex is extremely well kept, the pool and pool area is stunning. The beach is just meters away from the pool, and a great park with toys is to the immidiate right.
All over multi coloured flowers are blooming and the smell is heavenly.
The apartment is huge!
You walk in to a large hall, small WC to your left and then large well equiped kitchen to the left. Ahead is a very large living-room (dining room table, sofas, TV Video DVD...), well lit, with a great terrace, furnished with dining table (extra one) and outdoor sofas.
To the right of the hall are 2 large bedrooms one to the right and one to the left, both have full bathroom and WC. Both have loads of closet space. At the end of the hall is the master suite, Huge with tons of closets and a very large and beautiful bathroom. They have crazy amounts of towels, and they even have a baby cot, so we did not need to 'schlep' that!!!
We came with friends who rented the top, one bedroom apartment (also beautifull and fully furnished and equiped), so we all used the incredible roof terrace (that comes only if both the 3 bedroom apartment and the one bedroom apartment is rented). Very large, stunning views, comfortable chairs, deck chairs, table, BBQ area..no words can truly describe it properly.
Andrea, the owner, uses the help of a couple that lives on this complex, John and Anista, and they were extremly helpful. This is a huge bonus, since they are so readily available to help with anything. They can help you get cleaning service as well (we had daily cleaning service and it was great to come up from the pool to a clean apartment, made beds and lovely smell - better then a 5* hotel!!!)
To sum it all up; the apartment was beautiful, the complex fantastic and the location great! What more can be said?!
Go for it, you'll never regret it!

Excellent Apartment

We were absolutely pleased with the apartment. Very spacious and all bedrooms and bathrooms were a lovely size. Especially the master bedroom. Very well equipped with everything you need and loads of cupboard space. The complex itself was beautiful and we thought John very helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended.

I have stayed at this Villia a number of times and plan to return due to the location and size of the property. The Villa is more than well equiped and even has all the toys you would need for any children (2- 16) for the pool and beach. We even found our poker set that we left after our first visit! The Villa is great and very spacious, the pool was clean, deep and large enough for our needs and almost appeared as a private pool as there are not many villas as part of the complex. Locally, there are 3 supermarkets, loads of restaurants ranging from pub lunches through to fatastic steak houses, chineese etc. It has plenty of attractions ranging from Marbella which is only 15 mins away, go karting, swimming with dolphines etc to Gibraltor and the apes about 45 minutes away.

I have no hestitation in recommending this villa for those seeking a relaxing holiday with good food and pubs locally and those who want affordable yet large accomodation.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

We loved the apartment

Now we are back in Norway after a very nice stay in yuor apartement in Venalmar. We loved the apartement very much. The area was fantastick. Sarah , 2 years old like the swimmingpool. 3 big bedrooms with lovely bathrooms made our stay wonderful. The wedding was lovely. John was very helpful and a nice man.
We would like to come back soon.
