Set on the picturesque hamlet of Cravelle, belonging to the small village of Grives, La Petite Maison is a detached cottage built in honey-colored stones. The house sleeps 2 guests. a single bed can accomodate a child. It shars a large 10mx6m salt filtration system swimming pool, set 50m down the gite. The pool is fully fenced and enjoys a panoramic view onto the valley and countryside.

Cravelle is the ideal spot from which to explore the Dordogne valley with its pretty riverside villages such as Beynac and La Roque Gageac, seemingly impossibly built into the side of a cliff. The medieval Sarlat, the bastides of Domme and Limeuil, where the Dordogne River and Vezere river met, Les Eyzies and the Vezere valley, are all within a 20miles from the house. For walkers, there are many footpaths starting from the house.

  • Changeover day is Saturday, althought we are flexible in May, June and September
    Arrivals - Saturday afternoon from 4.00pm to 7.00pm
    Departures - Saturday morning by 10.00am
  • Guests are requested to leave the proprety in a clean and tidy condition ready for the next guests. A cleaning service is available, if required, at a cost of 60 Euros, payable locally to our agent. Please adivse when booking if you require this service.

    Bed linen and Towels are available at extra cost
    12€ per bed and 6€ per towels (hand and bath towels)
    Please indicate if you wish to hire them when booking, payable in full on arrival

    During cooler periods, an efficient electric heating system keeps you warm (extra to be paid locally according to use).
  • 30% deposit with booking. Remainder to be paid 4 weeks before arrival

    Breakage deposit of 200 Euros to be paid on arrival, returnable on departure
