The elegant 2 bedroom apartment is perfectly located a short walk away from the main town of Pego which provides shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants, the superb beaches of Denia are approximately 5 miles away. Pego is renowned for its superb year round climate. Spectacular mountain scenery forms a backdrop to the coastal plain, full of orange and lemon groves and rice fields. Take a breath-taking drive inland through the mountains which will bring you to the lush Jalon Valley where you can visit a 'Bodega' to sample the rich local wines. We recommend a visit to the mountain village of Guadalest and a bathe in the nearby waterfalls.

Why not visit the new shopping centre that has recenly opened in Ondara which is approx 10 mins from Pego, the centre consists of a food hall including McDonalds, Eddie Rocket and Mr Kebab, many many shops fashion, clothing, shoes and bags inlcuding C & A, there is also a cinema and bowling alley, the centre is open Monday- Friday 10am-10pm, follow signs for the N332 for Ondara the look for the signs for Parque Comercial. The region's beaches have been awarded 32 prestigious EEC Blue Flags for cleanliness - far more than any other Costa in Spain. And these superb beaches are ideal for young families, being gently shelving and sandy - many with play areas for children, and bars and restaurants for the adults. The area has become very popular for water sports, including skiing, sailing, jet-skiing, scuba-diving, snorkelling and wind surfing.

    Flexible change over days, enabling you to minimise you flight costs as Saturdays can be the most expensive day of the week.

    The total cost should be paid now if the arrival date is less than 8 weeks away. Otherwise a 25% deposit is due now and the balance should be paid 8 weeks prior to your arrival date.

    A small refundable security/damage deposit will be required plus a small final clean charge of £35.00.

Pego is the hidden gem of the Spain's Costa Blanca, sandwiched between orange groves, marshes and nine mountain ranges. Just a short hop from the hustle and bustle of Denia and yet it feels like another world. Between Oliva’s coastline and Pego town lays the Marjal, a natural park which is home to numerous endangered species, even ospreys and eagles can be seen circling the airspace above. From June to August there is a free boat trip across the Marjal - or you can go on foot or by bicycle. You can enjoy an immense tranquility and feel totally at one with nature whilst exploring the green valleys and mountains via the network of walkers’ routes to be found in the area. Pego has traditionally been associated with growing rice, though its proximity to Valencia has encouraged the growing of citrus fruits to the detriment of rice. Pego, with its attractive town houses, offers everything from traditional restaurants and bars to local shops.

No visit is complete without seeing the Ambra castle, with its spectacular view of the town, the orange groves and the rice fields. Pego's most popular monument is the Church of the Assumption with its breathtaking architecture of the 17th century and a bell tower topped with small canons.
