EMPORDANET FURTHER DESCRIPTION - the apartments have been built to a high standard with air-conditioning and two bedrooms and are located on the first or second floor. They are light and bright with cool tiled floors, white walls and attractive wooden doors. Each of the Empordanet apartments has a living room with separate dining and sitting areas, television and doors that open on to a front furnished terrace. In the living room there is a double sofa bed. The kitchen is open-plan to the living room and there is a bar separating it from the living area.
There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin which share a shower room, which also houses a washing machine. Both bedrooms have access to the rear terrace which gets the morning sun.
Empordanet is set in the heart of this charming resort on a recently pedestrianised street just a short walk from three of Calella's sandy coves.

CALELLA de PALAFRUGELL: Calella de Palafrugell is an attractive resort, well known for its various rocky coves, sandy beaches and excellent fish restaurants overlooking the sparking sea. Calella is popular with families, beach lovers and those seeking water sports. Holidays here are relaxed, lunches are long and the evenings are late. The paseo is the prelude to the evening meal with longer walks along the coast for the more serious hiker, one of the most popular is around the nearby headland to the next resort, Llafranc and up to its lighthouse, El Far, for amazing views over the whole bay or south along the ‘Cami de Ronda’ to the gardens of Cap Roig.
There are many local festivals in the surrounding towns and villages - on 23/24 June the Festa de St Joan is marked all over the region with bonfires and firework parties; in July and August the Cantada d' Havaneres musical festivals and the annual International Jazz Festival held in the beautiful gardens of Cap Roig just to the south of the resort.

1. Golf Platja de Pals - 18 holes - Par 73. The course is located between Pals and the coast to the north of Calella de Palafrugell.
2. Golf Serres de Pals - 18 holes - Par 72. The course is near to Pals to the north of Calella de Palafrugell.
3. Emporda Golf - 36 holes - Par on the links course is 71 and on the Forest course 72. The course is to the north of Callela de Palafrugell at Torroella de Montgri.
4. Club Golf d'Aro-Mas Nou - 18 holes - Par 72, plus a 9 hole pitch and put course. The course is at Platja d'Aro to the south of Calella de Palafrugell.
5. Club de Golf Costa Brava - 18 holes - Par 70. The course is at Santa Cristina d'Aro to the south of Calella de Palafrugell.
