This property has views of the horizon, sunset and countryside and located in the country about 100 yards in from the main road with other homes nearby. It is ideal as a holistic retreat if you just want to rest or it is equally suitable for closeness to Cork City, Cork Airport, Crosshaven, Oysterhaven, Kinsale or for day trips to West Cork and Kerry. A ferry runs from nearby Passage West across to historical Cobh, this ferry takes only a few minutes. Travelling from the UK by ferry, using Fishguard to Rosslare, Fuschia Cottage is a three hour drive from Rosslare Harbour. This property is located near a range of facilities - horse riding, sailing, golf, fishing, walking, restaurants and beaches. It is not overlooked and provides a peaceful environment for rest and relaxation. A special feature is the living room with beams and natural stone open working fire.

Bedroom 1 has a double bed. Bedroom 2 has a double bed. Bedroom 3 has single beds and all bedrooms have wooden floors. The tiled bathroom also has a separate shower over the bath. Original cottage features remain in the living area, which has a natural stone surround fireplace, whilst the bedrooms and bathroom have a fresh and modern appeal yet blending with the character of the property. All floors are either wooden or tiled. There is a large lawn which is wild edged and in summer fuschia hedging grows in abundance along the ditch. There is also a row of connifer hedging along one side. There is plenty of play area for children to run about and have fun. On cooler days, an open fire can be lit in the cosy living room which has adequate seating for up to six people. A laneway which is of coarse rubble finish leads to this peaceful, rustic cottage in the country, just off the main road with the nearest town, Carrigaline, less than 4 miles in distance, towards the city.
