Deal is an historic market town which has its own castle built for King Henry 8th within walking distance and further castles near by at Walmer, Dover and Sandwich. It has endless winding streets which have many quaint buildings and the area is steeped in smuggling lore. To visit Deal is to step back in time and yet it also offers all the amenities of a modern town, excellent restaurants and pubs plus a wide range of shops and a huge choice of outdoor activities. Deal pier has won awards for the great fishing it offers and the newly renovated pier end restaurant offers customers the chance to sit and enjoy their meal looking over the sea. There are spectacular walks to be taken along the sea front and up the cliffs towards St Margaret's and Dover. Watersports are available in Deal, sailing, rowing and windsurfing are very popular. The Telegraph has just voted Deal No 1 in Top Spots To Lay Your Towel. The long beach is rarely busy and is a wonderful place from which to swim and paddle.

The house was built in the mid 1800’s and retains much of its original character. The sitting room and dining room have wood panelled walls and the updated kitchen is very well equipped. There are three bedrooms on the first floor, one double, a twin and a single. In addition to the first floor bathroom, the single room is fitted with a sink. There is a private courtyard garden which offers a lovely space to sit outside and enjoy summer evenings and even have a BBQ.
