Beautifully finished apartment just 18 months old in a small, family managed block. The property comprises a bathroom, kitchen area, bedroom with 2 single beds and large living room containing a double sofa bed. Other facilities comprise of TV and DVD player, MP3 dock and small selection of paberback novels. There is a balcony with mountain views. The apartment is just 8 minutes walk to the ski gondola along a flat road however during ski season there is a courtesy bus doing the journey mornings and afternoons. Mountain Romance is managed by a friendly local family who provide a 24 hour manned reception and are very willing to assist with any needs arising. Contained within the block is a fitness area, spa, solarium and tavena. Breakfast is available each morning at a very reasonable price of approximately £2.50. Bansko is a new, modern ski resort offering 75km of piste.

It is a perfect destination for beginners and intermediates with prices less than half of what you would expect to pay in the Alps for lessons, equipment etc. Bars and restaurants are numerous and tremendous value, again with prices being a fraction of those in the Alps. Bulgarian food is plentyful and delicious, often with an emphasis on meat although vegetarian options are becoming more widespread. The Old Town Square area is a Unesco heritage site and is approximately 15 minutes walk from the apartment.
