Summercourt is small village once connected to the nearby village of St Enoder. Summercourt is famous for its annual Fair in September.The tradition of the travelling Fair and market is recorded to date back over 800 years. Summercourt has a highly acclaimed restaurant Vyners and a village pub and post office. Beaches on both coasts are within a short drive. National trust members can take advantage of free parking at many beaches as well as wonderful places to visit such as Trerice Manor, a short drive from Summercourt. The Kingsley shopping village at Fraddon sells local produce ,gifts art etc. The city of Truro is a short drive from Summercourt with its Cathedral, cinema and theatre.
The stables is easily accessible from the A30, Newquay airport is a 10 minute drive away with daily flights to London. The airport is expanding, with British Airways recently restarting flights from Gatwick. The main roads into Newquay have been given a good overhaul.
There is a 'First-travel' train station in Newquay which is only a 5 minute drive from Kimberley with services to as far as Scotland. There is a 'Great-western' bus station in Newquay which has 'National express' and 'First-travel' coaches coming into and going all over Britain as well as the local bus service which runs all over the county. There is a ferry port in Plymouth which has ferries coming in from and out to all over Europe.
