Wales holiday house: Llanuwchllyn, Bala Gwynedd

No expense has been spared to create this absolutely stunning country house holiday home. There are so many delightful original features to Gwyndy, such as large windows, light, airy rooms and stacks of space to share and a wealth of beautiful bathrooms and bedrooms! Gwyndy is ideal for 2 families or several couples to share. It offers ample space for even a 2 week holiday without feeling on top of each other! There are 3 floors, the ground floor has a boot room which can be used to store and dry wet kit after walks and outdoor activites, of which there are tons locally! Here also is a washing machine and dryer and indoor drying clothes line. The brand new country-style kitchen was formerly the butlers pantry, it now has all the necessary equipment needed to throw a lavish dinner party if required.

(A local chef from the village will cook anything from a basic 3-course meal to a full dinner party! - contact us for more info) The dining room has beautiful views across open farmland and there is a small woodburning stove with logs provided. The downstairs sitting room (there are 2 of them!)has TV and DVD, soft leather sofas and chairs and an open fireplace for those chilly winter evenings. Logs are included. Upstairs on the first floor is the 2nd even larger sitting room which has the most stunning elevated views. A plasma TV, satellite, wireless internet and lovely furniture and ecor - this is the way to self-cater! Also on this floor are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first is a single bedroom with shower room/wc adjoining and the second is a spacious double bedroom with ensuite tiled shower room. On the top floor is the most beautiful triple room (1 double and 1 single) with ensuite tiled shower room and a feature window overlooking the Berwyn mountains.

There is a twin room with connecting door to tiled bathroom with over bath shower and a further twin bedroom with separate access from the landing to the same bathroom. In a word, Gwyndy is simply gorgeous!
