Lovely relaxing holiday in the sun.

Lovely apartment with wonderful roof terrace located in friendly complex with tennis, paddle, gym, sauna and jacuzzi on site. Close to beach and within 40 min walk of Almerimar marina with restaurants/bars en route.
We would recommend La Caleta and Milenio restaurants in Almerimar which give free tapas with drinks with friendly service.
A lovely area with mostly Spanish tourists so plenty of chance to practice speaking the language.
There is a good Copo (supermarket) on the way from the motorway and this retail park has a cinema, restaurant and information centre. We found an internet cafe in the corner of the square in Almerimar which the teenagers found useful for keeping in touch with friends back home and a few doors down was an Irish bar where they could watch their football team.
A car is essential for sight-seeing trips.
We visited Almeria during the fiesta which was good and it's a nice city for shopping, eating and sight-seeing.
Would definitely recommend the accommodation and the location but would time the visit for the spring/autumn as it was too hot to attempt too much sightseeing during our stay.
