La Clusaz/ Manigod:

Summer is a spectacular time in the mountains. Manigod provides an exceptional location for freedom of the pastures for walking . For the more adventurous there are endless options, climbing, parapenting, swimming , via ferrata, golfing, fishing, mountain biking,sailing and summer luge. Annecy, La Grand Bornard and La Clusaz are all within short driving distance.
The traditional markets bring colour and interest in the local towns , shopping for food is anything but a chore. There is a series of wonderful local restaurants with an endless choice from the simple and inexpensive to the most elegant and famous .
Ski:
There is a variety of skiing across five massifs catering for all ability levels. There are plenty of blue and green runs for starters , the skiing amongst the forested runs being uniquely enchanting. For intermediates and advanced there is access to the Massif La Aiguille, and La Balme with powder in the gullies at Fernay and Borderan. A total choice of 330 km of pistes throughout the region, with 118 runs the highest being 2,600 meters 8,580 ft. There are two snowboard parks, floodlight skiing and snowshoe walking ,plus cross country skiing and ice skating.
