The description of the location is absolutely accurate. The property is absolutely clean and well-maintained. Still very natural.
When first coming to the location it is overwhelmingly beautiful because of nature, garden and houses. We had the Casa di Cherubino for 2 weeks. The house seems to be big with three bedrooms and even more beds, but it is unusual and very cozy. Everything worked well(f.e.kitchen, well equipped, bathrooms beautiful in italian style, tv, telephone). An old farmhouse, charming and with that special style one looks for when renting a farmhouse in Italy, but still verything you are accustomed to is there. Sitting in the evening or night on the terrace with candles burning on the table, the location has the atmosphere of being at ease with everything and everybody. Pure leisure.
The owners "service" is not really like owners service, distant and anonymous, it is like being part of the family without having "the family"at your table: there is always someone somewhere, but quite invisible, unobtrusive, decent, caring, friendly (when giving you fresh tomatoes from the owners garden), but if you need help, it is there.

The pool is clean, pretty and big enough for everybody staying there.
Of course we will go back as often as we can, when we need a time-out with reading, walking, wondering, how beautiful a place can be, enjoying.
Lucca is by car 15 minutes away. And Lucca is terrific.Sightseeing is a duty:-)))

Owner's Response: Thank you for your lovely remarks. Its wonderful to know that a place one loves so much gives other people so much pleasure. I have lived at Podere Consani for 30 years and I still open my shutters in the morning and think how lucky I am to live in this beautiful place - its position, views and its vicinity to Lucca, the sea and the mountains, without forgetting Florence, Siena and Pisa. As owners who live on the property we try to be descrete as possible but we are always available to help with any special requests, give any local information, share our wine, olive oil and home-grown vegetables - infact share our little corner of paradise!
