A superbly presented 36m2 first floor apartment facing the swimming pool offering first class facilities for up to four people in a quiet but well located part of the popular Cote d'Azur. Exterior facilities include: private balcony (additional 8m2) - large swimming pool - boules area - well kept communal gardens - underground parking. Accommodation comprises: large reception room with double doors leading to the balcony - open plan double bedroom also with double doors also leading to the balcony -confortable living room with sofa bed, equipped with English and French TV- fully fitted kitchen including electric cooker, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dish washer (a washing machine is also provided) - bathroom with power shower, - TV, DVD, radio, CD player - excellent storage facilities.

Ideally located in a very popular part of the Cote d'Azur on France's Mediterranean coast (15 minutes by car to Cannes and 30 minutes to Nice). The apartment is situated within a 15 minutes stroll (along a pleasant pine tree lined back road through a golf course) to the marina, beach, village and a range of good restaurants. A large supermarket is only 5 minutes walk away for those fresh morning croissants. There are a range of sporting options within 150 meters of the block: one of the South of France's most popular golf clubs, a local tennis club and a golf range. A wide range of other sporting and recreational facilities is also available in the local community. There are numerous villages and towns to visit, including, Mougins (gourmet cuisine); Grasse (home of perfume); St Paul de Vence (famous for its art galleries) to name but a few. There is also an excellent train service to Cannes/Nice/Monaco for shopping and sight-seeing.

Car useful but not necessary:: Whilst a car is useful for exploring the interior of the Cote d'Azur & Provence, when we visit we fly there and then rent a car but only for a few days. This provides for more relaxed travel and is less expensive when travelling from the UK. A car is not required for the beach, marina, local restaurants etc and there is a good train service along the coast from La Napoule to Cannes, Nice, Antibes, Monaco and other attractions such as Eze in between. There is a boat service from Cannes to St Tropez (faster than by road). For those wanting their own car without a long drive there is a car-train service to St Rafael only 30 mins drive away.

Tennis courts: Are available across the street from the apartment.

Golf Information:: The historic and popular 'Old Course Cannes-Mandelieu' is only 150 meters from the apartment. It offers daily green fees, has a charming club house with bar / restaurant and boasts two courses. The 18 hole 'Old Course', 5749 meters / par 71, is annual host to the Côte d'Azur's most prestigious meetings and is distinguished by its even topography and multi-centenary Mediterranean Pine. In addition it offers a full 9 hole 'Grand Duc' course, 2118 meters / par 33, also useful when the 18 hole course is reserved for competitions. A lovely well maintained property in a quiet area with secure parking. There is a nice large clean swimming pool but no sun beds etc by the pool. Not suitable for persons with a mobility disablement but ideal for couples who don't mind a 15 minute walk to the beach, local shops, restaurants, train station etc. For those with a car it easy access to and from the main Autoroute to Nice, Monaco etc. There are plenty of places to eat locally in the evening but the village was quiet at night. In fairness it was early season. Busier in Cannes at night though.
The one drawback we had was we are so used to supermarkets being open on a Sunday and in this area they are not. Arriving late Saturday evening was not the best time to find this out!
Would I stay here again? Yes I probably would as it gave us the relaxing do nothing lazy holiday we wanted.
Would I recommend it to friends? Yes to those who are after a similar holiday to what we had. If you want nightclubs locally etc then maybe you are going to the wrong place and should look to the more traditional clubbing resorts.
