Montreux holiday apartment in Veytaux

Foarte curat, utilat si pus la punct, studioul lui David a contribuit mult la vacanta perfecta pe care am avut-o pe perioada Festivalului de Jazz de la Montreux. Foarte aproape situat de atractiile principale ale Montreux-ului, de lacul, promenada principala si de hub-urile Festivalului, dar intr-o zona foarte linistita, locatia chiar ne-a dat senzatia ca am petrecut doua saptamani in inima celui mai cool si mai rafinat eveniment muzical al Europei. In acelasi timp, am fost impresionati de atentia la detalii pe care David a acordat-o in utilarea studio-ului: un iMac conectat la internet, produse de curatat baia si bucataria, servetele si prosoape de bucatarie, accesorii de gatit, inclusiv casolete pentru picnic! Totul dublat de o curatenie impecabila!
Nu in cele din urma, David este gazda perfecta, care a tranformat lucrul cu oamenii dintr-o meserie in arta. Nu numai ca a fost extrem de gentil asteptandu-ne la gara, oferindu-ne toate tip-urile necesare ca sa ne familiarizam cu Montreux-ul, dar ne-a facut supriza placuta de a instala conexiune wireless special pentru noi! Am petrecut un timp extrem de agreabil impreuna cu el si familia lui, la un pahar de vin cu povesti. E un bucatar excelent, o companie fascinanta, un tip ospitalier si haios. Cu siguranta vom reveni la Montreux ca la un drag prieten!

Die Verkehrsanbindung ist mit Bus und Bahn super, besonders praktisch ist der Parkplatz in der Tiefgargage. Im verschneiten Winter kann die steile Einfahrt etwas schwierig (glatt) sein. Die Wohnung ist wie auf den Fotos gemütlich eingerichtet, besonders nett ist der verglaste Balkon - mein Wintergarten. Hier habe ich oft an kühlen Tagen mit Blick auf den See gespeist! Die Ausstattung in der Küche ist ausreichend, sollte etwas fehlen, keine Hemmungen und David fragen. Er ist wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit und kümmert sich direkt um Abhilfe, sodass seine Gäste HAPPY sind. Auch die technische Ausstattung wie PC, Telefon und jetzt ganz NEU der TV mit 106cm Flat-Screen sind super!! Allerdings, für jemanden mit sehr leichtem Schlaf ist die Wohnung nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen, da die Straße und manchmal auch die Eisenbahn zu hören sind. Jedoch bei geschlossenem Balkon und Fenster war es kein großes Problem. Alles in allem hat es mir die sehr gut gefallen, vorallem die liebenwürdige und freundliche Art von David. - Danke nochmal.

A nuestra llegada en la estacion de trenes de Montreux, David nos estaba esperando. Nos ayudo con nuestro equipaje y nos llevo a dar un tour de Montreux y de los alrededores del departamento. En Montreux nos llevo a la oficina de Turismo donde compramos la tarjeta para el Bus, luego nos llevo pasado el departamento y el Chateu Chillon hasta Villenueve donde esta el final del recorrido de buses, la playa y el gran supermercado Coop.

El departamento tiene la excelente ubicacion 100 mts del Lago y sus jardines que llevan hacia un lado al Chateu Chillon y hacia el otro a Montreux y Vevey. El bus que para en la puerta del departamento corre cada 10 mins llega hasta Vevey y Villenueve respectivamente.
El departamento tiene un computador conectado al internet. Muy util si uno tiene que ver los itinerarios de trenes. La cocina es completa. El departamento tambien tiene un sofa cama doble, radio/cd y television con canales en Ingles y telefono para llamadas locales.

Los Fuegos Artificiales se vieron desde el departamento.
Nuestra estadia en Montreux fue muy facil y relajada gracias a toda la introduccion que David nos dio de los alrededores y lo bien ubicado y equipado que es el departamento. Si volvemos a Montreux definitivamente volveremos a este lugar.

At our arrival to the Montreux train station David was waiting for us. He helped us with our luggage and give us a tour of Montreux and the surroundings of the apartment. In Montreux he took us to the Tourism Office where we bought the Bus card for 20chf = 9 trips, then we passed the apartment and the Chateu Chillon all the way to Villenueve to see where the Bus ending station, the beach and Coop Grocerie Store were.

The apartment is in an excellent location, just 1 block from the Promenade Lake and Gardens that take you all the way to the Chateu Chillon and Montreux and Vevey. The bus stops right at the building door and runs each 10 mins all the way to Vevey and Villenueve respectively. The aparment has a computer with internet, very useful to check the train itinerary. The apartment also has a full kitchen a double sofa bed, radio/cd and TV with some English Channels and phone for locals calls.

We stayed over the National's Day weekend, August 1st and we could see fireworks all over the bay.

Our stay in Montreux was easy and relaxed thank to David's help and his introduction to the surroundings and how well located the apartment is.
If we return to Montreux we will definitely come back.
