Montreux holiday apartment: Montreux/Veytaux

Very much enjoyed our stay in this clean & tidy studio apartment where the owner has thought of pretty much everything one might need. Great location with bus stop right outside, a handy shop just across the road and lovely walks along the lake side towards Chillon or back into Montreux. A walk to see Chateau De Chillon then taking one of the fine paddle steamers (summer months only) on to Montreux & Vevey is a delight.

Just returned from a 10 day stay in this well situated apartment . The balcony now has the added bonus of double glazing and great for having breakfast with a view of the lake .There is a bus stop right outside providing good service between Villeneuve and Vevey including the steps / escalator up to the railway station .The apartment is very clean and has all the equipment needed for a comfortable stay for 2 people . The owner is very friendly and met us on arrival at the station to take us to the apartment .I would recommend this apartment to anyone .

A very well-located apartment for sightseeing around the Montreux area, a bonus it having a stop on the number 1 bus from Villeneuve to Vevey right outside. Trips to the surrounding area was therefore very easy.

The property was spotless when we arrived and the owner collected us from Montreux railway station in his car. New towels were provided every couple of days. The kitchen, although small, was well provided with all items necessary for self-catering.

Having a free, always-on Internet connection was an unexpected bonus meaning we could keep in touch with home.

The apartment block is quite large but we never saw or heard any neighbours. It is also right on a main road but traffic noise was never a problem - the veranda having sliding windows helped in this regard.

We would have no hesitation in recommending this property. Having only one room with a bed and sleeper couch however, means that it's mainly for singles or couples.
