Enjoy the Balconies & Gardens:
The villa has a balcony on three sides where you will find seating to enjoy your afternoon tea whilst basking in the sun and enjoying the vista. A large covered stone terrace and garden sit on the 4th side with lake and mountain views. This is where you will spend much of your time, having breakfast, lunch and dinner al fresco. It will be an effort to drag yourself away to the BBQ a few short steps away.
Location:
The villa is in the locality of Marena, 310m above sea level in the commune of San Siro (formerly known as Santa Maria Rezzonico). It is conveniently situated - a 10 minute drive from the Menaggio/Cadenabbia 18 hole International Golf Course; the second oldest Golf Club in Italy and also ski resorts in the Alps, both in Italy and Switzerland, are a one to two hour drive.
A fifteen minute leisurely walk down to the lake will bring you to Rezzonico with its medieval castle and Pizzeria. You can also swim in the lake from the beach there, which is 5 mins away on foot. The beach is near the Hotel Ristorante Sole where you can sample the local delicacies. The beautiful town of Menaggio which is located on the western shore of Lake Como is about 10 mins. away with its ferries, cruisers, shops banks and restaurants. You can relax in the piazza whilst you decide on which flavour ice cream to have!
