We offer a great value package where all you need to think about is your Skiing or Summer adventure. We will pick you up from the airport in our private Minibus and whisk you to Chatel, only 80mins away. You will be welcomed at the Chalet with a Glass of Bubbly, whilst you decide which of the 4 spacious and very comfortable bedrooms you will stay in. All towels and fluffy dressing gowns are provided. Whilst you wait for your 4 course dinner with quality bottled wines included, you can relax in the Hot Tub enjoying the superb panoramic views of the mountains. If you have any energy you need to use, or to keep kids entertained we have a seperate Games room with Wii and Table Tennis. Chalet Lac de Vonnes is a traditional built chalet with great features and offers a very welcoming and warm comfortable stay. Sky TV/DVD is also available as are games and books. The rear balcony offers amazing views of the mountains for you to enjoy with a glass of vin chaud each evening.

Chalet Lac de Vonnes is situated opposite the beautiful Lake Vonnes and within easy walking distance to a Blue piste onto the massive Portes du Soleil ski area. Also, only a 7 minute walk into the traditional farming village centre of Chatel, this Chalet is ideally located. A free bus, stops outside the Chalet, but each morning, we take you in our Private Minibus to one of many slope departure points only minutes away or drop you for your lessons. The bars and restaurants are plentiful and offer fantastic local cuisine and alcohol - Genepi being a test of character for anyone! Chatel itself is located only a short 80mins drive form Geneva airport or 8 hours from Calais making this ideal for people who want to get to their resorts quickly. Our free transfer in our Private Minibus to/from Geneva airport makes this a hassle free experience. We serve quality wines with your plentiful meals each evening and have a Hot Tub and Log fire to help you relax at the end of each day.

  • Both rooms on the lower floor have their own modern well decorated bathrooms with seperate toilets and wash basins. The two rooms upstairs are serviced by a family bathroom functional and well decorated with both the option of a bath or seperate shower. This bathroom also has its own toilet and wash basin. Downstairs in the basement area is a fourth bathroom primarily used in the Summer for Mounatin biking as to avoid dirty clothes and bodies tramping through the chalet.

  • Each bedroom is traditionally decorated with beautiful linen and furnishings. Two rooms are situated on one floor whilst the other two are situated above, both floors having three bathrooms between them. In each of the rooms are Fluffy dressing gowns and towels as well as hair dryers. The large Mezzanine on the upper floor is a great relaxation area or an area for kids to watch DVD's or Sky TV whilst parents relax with wine downstairs in front of the log fire..

Ski: Châtel is in the heart of the Franco-Swiss ski domain called the Portes du Soleil. The domain, one of the largest in Europe, covers 12 resorts: 8 French, including Châtel, Avoriaz, Morzine, Montriond, les Gets , St Jean d’Aulps, Abondance and La Chapelle d'Abondance; and 4 Swiss: Champéry, Torgon, Morgins and les Crosets-Val d’Illiez-Champoussin. In all it has over 400 miles of ski slopes, well-served by 194 ski-lifts all accessible using a single, inclusive card. The Châtel ski domain itself offers a wide range of superb holidays and magnificent opportunities for skiing, both for those who come for the life and scenery on the mountain and those looking for that ultimate experience on the slopes! Châtel consists of two main sectors: Barbossine / Super-Châtel and Linga / Pré-la-Joux, lying between 1100m and 2200m (3600 ft and 7200 ft). The Châtel ski domain has 49 ski slopes : 5 black, 16 red, 17 blue and 11 green with a total length of 90 km and 45 ski-lifts.

I just wanted to say a HUGE Thankyou for the best snowboarding/sking trip we could have ever asked for. You exceeded our expectations in all areas and made us feel so warm and comfortable in the chalet, the food was amazing as was your hospitality. Thankyou so much for your guided tours of such a beautiful area. All the best this year and we all can't wait to come back again!
