I would highly recommend the Francouzska Studio for a very spacious and highly affordable base to explore the wonderful City of Prague. We stayed as a group of three friends, and the open plan area gave us plenty of space to have a double bed each (one fixed, two sofa beds) as well as room left over for a dining table and separate seating area around a coffee table. Flooring is oak wood throughout, the bathroom has a wonderfully roomy walk-in shower, and the kitchen is fully equipped with a full-sized fridge and cooker. The studio is lovely and quiet (situated in a courtyard) and even has its own little garden where you can sit out if the weather is nice. It really made our holiday, as it meant we could all stay together and as the price is so reasonable, we could spend the money we saved on going out and hitting the shops / bars!! It's only a 15 minute walk into town (no problem at all) plus there's a good range of local shops and amenities nearby. Marvin (the owner) is always ready to answer any questions you may have, and Petr (the local manager) will show you around and even pick you up / take you back to the airport for a very reasonable 600 czk (about £20) if you need. With it being such a large and airy studio, I would recommend this for groups / familes, but as it is so reasonably priced it would also be good for couples / singles too. Much better and far more fun than staying in a hotel.
