Kato Paphos holiday apartment

As a regular renter of properties for holidays, I feel I should know a good one when I have stayed there, and this is a good one. For a start,communication was very good with the agent. Costs and instructions were clear from the start. Directions were provided and keys picked up without a problem. Apartment was spotless on arrival with a goody bag of stuff to get us going was waiting. A good guest guide with leaflets was also on the table with suggestions of places to visit. It was well decorated with good fittings even a washing machine. Please note that if you want to watch the TV , take some DVDs with you as there is no ariel. Being quite tall, I always check the bed out for size, no problems there,I slept better than at home! Ceiling fans coped admirably with the late summer heat (over 30deg c! in late September) without having to put on the aircon. The pool was lovely and big with plenty of sunbeds around. The flat is a little out of the main town but there are plenty of decent bars and restaurants within a very short walk. They also tend to be a little cheaper and better value than places in the main town. We had a car but the bus stop was very near to take you to the harbour or to the better beaches at Coral bay. The attraction Tombs of the kings is just up the road and takes about 5 mins to reach . Even though situated not far from a main road it was generally quiet with not a lot of road noise or from other apartments. Some of the land around needs some attention but this is to be expected in Cyprus. Standards are not the same as in Britain!For the money this apartment was excellent value and i would recommend it for any couple travelling to Paphos.
