Bonbonboug is the name of this very comfortable detached 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage set in a fabulously beautiful location set in the hills of a little hamlet called Lampianu on the North West coast, and an easy drive just 35 minutes from Alghero Airport. It offers a stunning view of the 'Nurra' sea through the hills, yet it is also within just a 5 minute pleasant drive from a quiet beach. Although there are neighbouring houses in the beautiful surroundings, this little house 'casetta' has a lovely feel of privacy and benefits from an interesting good sized garden with plenty of fruit trees, a spacious covered sun terrace with sea view and BBQ. The house itself has lots of character with exposed beams and high ceilings, it is light and airy, very well maintained with an open plan feel, a well fitted kitchen, cosy living area, 2 good sized bedrooms and 2 well appointed shower rooms (1 ensuite). This is a wonderful property ideal for both families (up to 5 people) or for couples.

Casetta Bonbonboug benefits from a lovely position set within the hills with a stunning sea view and is just a 5 minute drive to a special beach. The very quiet and pretty area of Lampianu is situated on the beautiful North west coast approximately half way between Alghero and Stintino and the house is located in a beautiful location consisting of very few privately owned houses nestled within the surrounding rugged but beautiful undergrowth and is most ideal for anyone wanting a quiet rural holiday with the benefit of all amenities and a choice of larger towns within close vicinity. The nearest small town is Stintino, further North, a small fishing village with a good choice of cafes & restaurants, shops, super market and a weekly open market well worth a visit to stock up on the local produce. Further on to the very tip is Capo Falcone, which over looks the Island of the Asinara National Park and the most popular and stunning La Pelosa Beach with amazingly clear and turquoise water.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A 300 Euro security deposit is required on arrival on hand over of the keys and returned at the end of the stay subject to no breakages/damage occurred to the contents/ property.

    Although the rates are advertised in £ Sterling, the deposit of 50% (due on reservation) and the balance (due one month prior to the arrival date) are both required to be sent in Euros by bank transfer to the Owners account.
  • A welcome hamper is provided on arrival.

    Change over day - Saturday
  • Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided.
    ** Please note guests should bring their own Pool & Beach towels
    An end of stay clean is included in the price.
    For stays of more than one week the villa is cleaned weekly.

Notes: Casetta Bonbonboug is only available from mid June until mid September. There is a restaurant very conveniently situated just 50 yards from the property and the nearest village is Porto San Nicola which is just 5 km where you will find a selection of small shops for everyday needs including grocers, deli, tobacconist/newsagent, a couple of bars and there is also a church. Stintino is the nearest small town 15 km North with shops and boutiques, a choice of restaurants and a harbour, beach/sea activities and boat trips etc. Villa Bonbonboug has a good sized garden including a selection of fruit trees from which guests can help themselves when in season. The owners, Franco and Luisa, also provide a hamper of local goodies for your enjoyment.

We had a fabulous fortnight in this beautiful well equipped property. The villa is in a lovely position, quiet yet convenient for some superb beaches, Stintino and the airport. Our holiday was extremely relaxing; we enjoyed waking up to the sound of birdsong and wandering around the lovely garden, as well as watching the sun set over the sea. We loved the "away from it all" feel of Bonbonboug. Picking tomatoes fresh from the vine, spotting lizards darting into the dry stone walls and sitting on the large veranda enjoying family meals all added to a fantastic holiday.
