This apartment offers three large guest rooms, individually available in a historical seafront princely palace in the city centre: Palazzo Mirelli di Teora, projected by C.Fanzago, the most famous architect of the napolitan baroque. Room 1 is located on the roof floor, connected to the large noble apartment below by an ancient winding staircase. It is totally independent, although sharing the main entrance with the apartment below. The room has an en suite bathroom, its own balcony with a marvelous view of the bay of Naples, and a private large flowered terrace with view on the hill of the city, church couples and roofs. The apartment below is still inhabited by the owners who will friendly welcome the guests. A typical Mediterranean breakfast is served in the elegant main dining room. The palace is at few meters from the Villa Comunale (a public historical garden) and the waterfront walk, at walking distance from the elegant shopping area and the Mergellina ferry port (Capri, Ischia).

  • The large room/studio (bedroom no.1) has one double bed and one single bed with cushions (this can be used as sofa during the day), (an extra bed can be pulled out). There is a wardrobe, and a writing-desk with chairs. Ideal for a couple, 3 (or 4) friends or a family with 1-2 kids. The roof is partially mansard. The furniture is modern and essential but stylish and comfortable. One room's side faces to the sea with a balcony, the other side to the city center with a large terrace with plants and garden chairs. Further two double bedrooms (bedrooms no.2 and no.3) (each with its own bathroom) are eventually available, located in a separate area of the owners' apartment below; both these rooms are very large, have two single beds and a small seafront balcony, and are elegantly furnished.

A week in a Palace!

We stayed one week in Adriana and Stefano house and we really enjoy it.
The bedroom at the top of the house is very independent and Adriana took really care of us, i.e breakfasts were great with hand made cakes.
Historic centre, port, tube station are all either in walking distance or easily reach by bus.

Lovely apartment

My two college age children and I stayed in this lovely rooftop room with a great view of the Bay of Naples in April 2009. The owners, Stefano & Adriana were very accommodating and friendly, allowing us to leave our luggage at their house on our last day while we went to Capri. Adriana fixed a lovely breakfast in the morning which was served in their family dining room. We were able to come and go as we pleased. The large room itself was clean and nicely furnished with two comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. It's about a 5-8 minute walk from the Mergellina metro/ train station. One night we decided to walk to the historic center from the apartment, and were able to experience a bit of the city along the way and felt perfectly safe.
We also went to Pompeii, not to be missed if you go to Naples. We found Naples to be very interesting with the narrow streets, great pizza at Pizzeria Trianon, delicious sfogliatella at Galleria Umberto and crazy moped drivers. Be careful when crossing the streets! All in all if you're looking for a room much larger than a hotel room with a lovely breakfast while also getting to experience how a local family lives this is a great place to stay.We were also able to meet Stefano & Adriana's children, who were friendly as well. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Apartment by the sea front in central Naples

My husband our 18 month old son and my parents in law stayed in this beautifull apartment. We really enjoyed our week with Antonia, Stefano and their family.
The property was very clean and well maintained. There were some great local restaurants nearby expecially the well known fish restaurant which was only a 10 minute walk away.
The apartment is centrally located and therefore we were able to walk to most places of interest and the ferry terminal was also close by. The highlights of out trip were our visits to Capri and Pompeii.
