Photos and Description of this Estoher holiday house A 5 bedroom, self-catering rental adapted for reduced mobility access

The house is a traditional, stone built property which has been completely modernised internally, while maintaining its character. It is ideally situated for easy access to the ski slopes and the sandy beaches. The five bedrooms ,three doubles and two twin beds are well appointed ,light and airy with views of the mountains. The main kitchen /diner is on the first floor and the summer kitchen is on the ground floor, with access to the delightful terrace and barbecue area. Both kitchens are fully equipped to allow full use of the facilities. The lounge is spacious and comfortable with a wood burning stove to supplement the electric heating in winter. There is a television, DVD and HiFi as well as a selection of society games and a library. The property has three shower rooms and three toilets, the 500 litres of hot water daily, are supplied from the solar panels. Baby equipment is available on request. Sheets and towels are included in the rental. Animals are accepted.

The property is well situated for a wide variety of activities . The ski slopes of the Capcir are only 20 miles away and the hot baths at St. Thomas are a popular stopping point on the way back.There are several mountain bike routes including the course used in the French National Championship Competition and there are three different canyoning courses within 3 miles. At Villefranche de Conflent there are caverns open to the public and speiliology groups. The area has numerous Abbeys and churches with marvellous Romanesque architecture such as St.Martin de Canigou and St.Michel de Cuxa. At Tautavel/Vingrau there is the site and museum of the oldest Eurpoean {450,000years) .Most of our guests also visit the Dali Museum at Figueras which is easily accessible by the motorway (1 hr). The Mediterranean coast is only 30 miles away where a range of water sports are available at Canet St.Nazaire and St. Cyprien.While painting is important at Collioure the home of the Fauvist Mouvement.
