On the ground support:
Catalan Ways is here on the ground in L'Ampolla and the first thing we do on your arrival is give you an information pack that contains town maps, facilities in the area, things to do and activities to explore plus discount vouchers on theme parks, activity centres and vouchers for a free bottle of wine in selected restaurants. And Catalan Ways also offer activity packages that you can book such as GPS adventure challenges, cycling trips, kayaking on the river Ebro, water sports, tree-top abseiling, golf and fishing. All of our guests who have done the activity packages have really enjoyed the diversity and challenge of the activities available. We can also recommend the L'Ampolla kids club which has painting, swimming lessons, sports etc on a daily basis. This gives mom and dad the chance to sip a beer or have a coffee in the sun at a beachfront cafe.
Ideal Location:
The experience of families who have stayed in Hort De Salomo is very positive indeed. The central location means that all the facilities are within walking distance while the cosy and secure nature of the village affords a lot of freedom to children and adults alike. The holiday complex is private and offers everything you would expect such as the swimming pools, gardens to kick a ball around in as well as a playground. It is also near to the sea and the beaches while the restaurants and supermarkets are just a stone throw away form the resort. The offices of Catalan Ways are also nearby at just 300 metres so if you need anything or have any questions or want to drop in and avail of our free internet access, then you do not have far to go. And while a car is an advantage, if you would rather not rent a car, then we can arrange taxi pick up from Reus airport which is daily serviced by Ryan air.
Golf:
There is a fine 18 hole Pitch and Putt course beside L'Ampolla which means you do not have the hassle of bringing you clubs and just rent the pitching wedges and putter when you are here. And the good news is that the course is quite challenging, hole lengths vary between 60 and 120 metres so you get to open your shoulders and really swing at the ball.
