Lodge set in the Highlands surrounded by wood land with wonderful views, from every window. This lodge is ideal for a family of all ages. Sleeping up to 8 comfortably, consisting of 2 double bedrooms, one twin bedded room, and one room with large single bed. 3 Bathrooms- one en suite, the property has a sauna, and large area. 2 wood burning stoves and central heating. This property is tucked away but near enough to Inverness airport (40 min). There is a corner shop 3 miles away. Market town of Dingwall 20 min for all amenities from leisure centre shops. The Lodge is set on a hill, ideal for walks & watching all sorts of wild life. An ideal location for getting away to absolute peace & quiet. Highly recommended by previous guests. The Lodge has access to its own river, The Skiack, trout fly. Guests are welcome to use it any time.

The property, is situated on Swordale Hill approx 700' high, with views south to the Highlands. Far away from everything but near enough to all local facilities. Golf Course by the number, fishing with its own river Skiack (trout fly), very pretty & wonderful for picnics on the river bank. 30 mins from the famous award winning beach of Dornoch, with its famous cathedral, & famous wedding. Cromarty, very pretty interesting on the sea, with its car ferry to Nigg. As well as leisure centre in Dingwall ancient market town. Only an hour from the west coast harbour and fishing town of Dingwall with the ferry departing to the Outer Hebrides on a very frequent basis. Isle of Skye an easy drive from Swordale. Or stay in the lodge for walks around Swordale Hill with its views to the Moray Firth as well as the Highlands. Or walk to the river for a days fishing. There is so much to do here you will run out of time!! Or sit on the terrace listening to the birds singing resting & enjoying the views

Milton Lodge is situated on Swodale Hill, commanding views of the Highlands, and yet it is very close to all facilities, such as golf, of which there are numerous golf courses including the famous Royal Golf Course of Dornoch, as well as Dornoch beaches. This Lodge is in a bird watchers paradise as well as all sorts of wild life native to Scotland. Wonderful walks straight from this Lodge into nature and all its Scottish Highland beauty.

Golf: The Highlands, are famous for their golf courses. There are golf courses within a few miles of Milton Lodge. 6 of us found our way to this property and had a lovely time there. it was exceptionally clean and well kept. i've become a huge fan of the Aga. the sauna was a fantastic perk. this property is a wonderful base for touring around the highlands and we would definitely recommend it and go back again if needing to be in the area.

Ich habe eine wundervolle und sehr erholsame Woche bei Barbara verlebt. Sie ist eine sehr aufmerksame Gasgeberin und lässt jeden Urlauber sich in "Milton Lodge" wie zu Hause fühlen. Schottland ist wirklich eine Reise wert, besonders die Highlands. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und ich kann nusr sagen: ich komme wieder!
