A comfortable flat with a generous lounge (30m2), two bedrooms and the unusual luxury of a small private terrace/garden off every main room. Only 2 minutes walk from the Chateau Rouge metro, and less than 10 minutes on foot to the Sacre Coeur, this flat is a delight to come back to after a long day's sight-seeing around the fabulous city of Paris. There are two tube stations (from two different lines) within a hundred yards of the flat. on the way there You'll immediately find yourself in the midst of a throbbing, lively, cosmopolitan crowd offering their wares from Africa or Asia=the area is fast becoming a tourist attraction in itself. Exploring Paris is easy from the 18th arrondissement. A 10 minutes walk and you can watch the painters at work in the famous Place du Tertre in Montmartre, climb the steps to the Sacre Coeur and enjoy the view of Paris, or spend the day trawling the world's largest antiques flea market- le Marche aux Puces. You can also take your car in the garage below and go and explore the Chateau de Versailles and its historic city around or go and visit Monet's famous house in Giverny, see Eurodysney or shop for luxury goods at 30% or 50% discount in the factory shops of such names as Givenchy, Féraud , Charles Jourdan Dupond e'tc...all regrouped in a big shopping center outside Paris.

Additional information about rental rates

  • These rates are for four people using the flat. There will be an extra charge of 15€ a night above that number or 100€ a week. Locked garage available below the flat, suitable for a standard limousine. The cost is 35€ a week, pro rata for shorter periods.
    30% booking deposit due within 10 days of booking. Balance to be paid 4 weeks prior to the holiday. A refundable damage deposit of £280 or 300 euros to be paid with final balance. If the flat is left in a state which any reasonable new tenant would find unacceptable, the time needed to put the situation right will be charged at the going rate and subtracted from the bond. If, without prior agreement from the owner, the number of people occupying the flat is above the number stated on application the bond will be forfeit.
  • Electricity, heating, bed linen and one bath sheet per person included in rental rates. Please leave the flat as you would like to find it. Please, don't forget to take the dustbin downstairs or to empty the fridge, however you may leave Champagne bottles, tins of Caviar, fresh Truffles ...

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment with plenty of room for five adults to relax together or have their own space. Kitchen and dining facilities were more than adequate and the small courtyards/gardens off each room were a real bonus. The surrounding area is bustling, busy and interesting and we could find all we needed within 5 minutes walk. For trips further afield there is a metro stop close by. Even though there were building and road works going on in the street we remained completely undisturbed in this flat, which is peaceful and secure. Communications with the owner were prompt and very informative - and all the information we received either on the website or via the email was accurate. We would certainly recommend this property to friends.

A good comfortable base

This flat was ideal for our family short break in Paris. The flat is very spacious and well equipped with lots of homely touches and the small terrace was a bouns as the weather was hot. The beds were comfortable and the flat felt very secure. I hate to say it but having Uk TV channels was good! Initially we were a bit concerned about the area as there were lots of groups of people hanging around but everyone was very friendly and helpful, so our concerns were unfounded. There is a supermarket around the corner and the Metro is 2 minutes away. Central Paris is about 10 minutes on the Metro and Montmatre is within easy walking distance as is the Gard du Nord. The owner was very helpful and provided lots of information prior to our arrival and the lady that gave us the keys and showed us around the flat was very pleasant. All in all a good comfortable base to see Paris from and we would go back again.

Delightful apartment in an enchanting neighborhood

We rented this apartment for nearly 3 weeks earlier this month (May2009) and found the accommodations to be every bit as advertised; spacious, clean and well maintained. The apartment is in a very secure building which is also well maintained. The building is located in a delightful neighborhood rich in African culture. We found the area residents to be very courteous and helpful. The numerous street fairs in the area were also a plus. We can highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to experience the Paris culture. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit if it is available.

excellent appartment with good location

My wife and I have been to Paris many times and this time decided to take four of our good friends along with us to show them Paris The flat was just perfect for the three couples and the location very good with both the metro and a supermarket close by We all would not hesitate in recommending this flat to any persons. We all will certainly be returning to the flat and Paris in the future.

Four of us had a wonderful 4 day stay in this apartment. It is in a great location (just two stops up from the Gare Du Nord on metro line 4, or within a 20 minute walk). A truly vibrant area in the Algerian / North African quarter of Monmartre. The area was bustling and incredibly busy especially in the early evenings, but the setting of the apartment guaranteed absolute quiet. The Sacre Coeur was close by.

The apartment itself is clean, spacious and well equipped with a small courtyard (a rarity in Paris!). The main living room is large and welcoming and the smaller galley kitchen has everything you needed. All in all, its an excellent place to stay and we have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
