There are two tube stations (from two different lines) within a hundred yards of the flat. on the way there You'll immediately find yourself in the midst of a throbbing, lively, cosmopolitan crowd offering their wares from Africa or Asia=the area is fast becoming a tourist attraction in itself. Exploring Paris is easy from the 18th arrondissement. A 10 minutes walk and you can watch the painters at work in the famous Place du Tertre in Montmartre, climb the steps to the Sacre Coeur and enjoy the view of Paris, or spend the day trawling the world's largest antiques flea market- le Marche aux Puces.
