A renovated 16th Century thatched village, Kerfec is nestled in the beautiful countryside of the Blavet valley. It offers 4 gîtes, which can sleep 2, 4, 6 or 8 people. Within easy reach of medieval towns and the Morbihan coast, Kerfec is ideally situated for, both, lovers of long walks, either, in the woods, along the Blavet river or, on the beach. This French family-owned attractive village, renovated by local artisans has retained most of the original features of the houses, which gives Kerfec a typical Breton feel. Quistinic, the local village, has bars, a crêperie, a bakery and a general store for your immediate needs, whilst Baud or Hennebont, which has all amenities, are only a 10 minute drive. The medieval town of Pontivy and the sandy beaches of the coast are only a short 30 to 40 minute drive, north and south respectively. Ideal for romantic getaways or for family holidays.

Kerfec is very well situated. Half-way between Lorient and Pontivy - both cities are very rich in history - and close to Carnac - famous for the beaches and the pre-historical site of the 'menhirs' and 'dolmens'. Although, very close to local amenities ( grocery stores, shopping, petrol stations...), Kerfec is set in an idyllic environment. Rural, peaceful and close to nature, walkers will delight in the many paths and cyclists will relish in the diverse routes readily available. If you prefer the history of Brittany, summer is the time to visit the numerous small chapels, especially with 'L'Art dans les Chapelles'. And one historical place NOT to be missed is POUL FETAN. It's just a 5 minute walk from Kerfec and will depict how the Bretons used to live and what life they led a few hundred years ago. Kerfec is perfect for romantic getaways or for families who just want to leave behind their busy lifestyle, even for just a few days!
