Luxury Modern Penthouse - Solden & Obergurgl high altitude ski areas

One week minimum in peak season with arrival Wednesday or Sunday

The two level apartment comfortably sleeps 8 in 3 bedrooms and there is an option of also using the sofa bed in the lounge to take the maximum capacity to 9.
On the upper level there is one family room (one double bed & two singles) with an en-suite bathroom (bath/shower/WC) and balcony.
The rest of the of the apartment is on the lower level with an open plan lounge / kitchen / hallway that gives access to the upper floor by a spiral staircase.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven, two-ring hob, microwave, dining table and filter and Nespresso coffee machines. The lounge has a sofa bed and TV.
There are two double/Austrian twin bedrooms with balconies, and one bathroom (bath/shower/WC), on the lower floor.
The kitchen and lounge facilities are slightly smaller and are best suited for groups of up to 5 or 6 or those larger groups who do not plan to have most their meals in the apartment.
Communal areas of the building include lift, ski and boot room and wash and drying room.

warm and comfortable

Very comfortable appartment for 9 people staying in early December 2017.Good location to enjoy the two ski resorts of Solden and Obergurgl. Only one criticism was the size of the kitchen which wasn't really big enough to cater for the party number. .The electric hobs had barely enough room to hold two pans at the same time..

Really enjoyed our stay. Nice, warm and clean apartment suitable for max. 6 adults (+ children). Kitchen is very small though. Helpful housekeeper and owner. Zwieselstein is a small village and you can go easy by car or bus to Solden or Obergurgl.

Alles wunderbar

Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und modern, gleichzeitig gemütlich, eingerichtet Die Küche bietet so ziemlich alles, was man braucht, und sogar ein bisschen mehr. Die Lage in Zwieselstein hat uns für den Wintersport auch gut gefallen, da man ganz schnell in Sölden oder auch in Hochgurgl ist. Gleich neben dem Haus gibt es einen Spielplatz und im Ort sehr gute Restaurants. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und würden definitiv wieder kommen.

Nice appartment

Nice apartment in Zwieselstein. The description is somewhat summarily. For example the familyroom is not completely separated from the living room (separated by stairs). The apartment was clean and the owner provides a good service. Even though the building is relatively new, there was minor maintenance required (replacing light bulbs, fix shower rod etc.). But overall it's a very nice apartment with a lot of space, good located in the better part of the Ötztal!

Fantastic Apartment in a great location

We loved the apartment. The apartment was very clean upon our arrival. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and we loved the views. We enjoyed opening the windows in the evening to hear the river as we went to sleep. It was very peaceful and quiet. The apartment easily accommodated our group of 8 people. The layout of the upstairs family room was perfect for our 4 boys and the view from their room was amazing. The two downstairs bedrooms were both very well laid out and each had beautiful views. In the evening after skiing, we used the large sofa and kitchen chairs and had plenty of room to talk, play games and watch TV. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed and even had some extra spices that came in handy! Management was very helpful and available to help with suggestions and information. In particular, I was very grateful to John for helping us to get in our apartment on the first day when I had forgotten the code to get the key.
