The villa is lovely and full of character, looks just as it is on the photos. Lots of space, and very traditional. It is over three floors,so not good for elderly/disabled.Furnishings and kitchen equipment etc. adequate. The location is good, but a car is definitely needed. Parking is not a problem. Directions for finding the property once in the locality were not great, and arrangements for collecting the key did not work out, we ended up hanging around and having to ring the housekeeper, would have been difficult if we had had no phone!! A nice welcome pack of basics was provided. The negative side was the overall cleanliness ( not thorough, kitchen particularly) and poor quality bed sheets and towels. There was a problem with hot water, which was fairly promptly sorted.A few lights did not work and the bathroom on the lower floor was out of order, which was a disappointment and inconvenient for the people sleeping down there. The pool is small but very pretty. Local attractions are interesting, people very friendly and mostly english speaking . Some good resteraunts nearby. There is loads to see on the island, none of it very far away. Ferry to malta convenient and easy. would definitely go back, but possibly not to that villa.
