Photos and Description of this Playa de las Americas holiday apartment Recently refurbished, large corner balcony, 4 minutes walk from the sea,sleeps 5

The apartment is on a corner of the second floor with an extremely spacious balcony that has the sun all day. It was completely refurbished in 2006 incl.a new bathroom & all electrical items, beds & soft furnishings etc. were all replaced.Kitchen has a hob, microwave, toaster and kettle etc. & a built in dining area. In the living area there is a double bed settee & a chair that unfolds into a single bed. There is a large flat screen tv which receives ITV, BBC1, BBC2, CH5, Sky sports etc.a recordable DVD player, a CD/Radio & fans. In the bedroom there is a double bed, wardrobe, bedside tables & a ceiling fan for your comfort, also an iron/ironing board. There is now a wall mounted flat screen TV in the bedroom. The bathroom is fully tiled with a bath, shower & a marble topped vanity unit complete with spotlights & a full length mirror with shelving. In the vanity unit is a hair-dryer. Also a new front loading washing machine is fitted. On the balcony are sun loungers, table/umbrella.

Very popular aparthotel in Torviscas Bay just 200m from 2 lovely beaches, surrounded by many restaurants, bars & entertainment. It takes 4 mins to venture to the marina at Puerto Colon, where you can experience all the water activities, you can walk along the 'safe' promenade south to Los Christianos or north as far as La Caleta, without walking along a single a road, the views are spectacular & there are enough shops, cafe's and bars along the way to keep you entertained. There are also play area's, trampolines & mini golf for the children, including giant inflatable climbing frames & chutes in the bay, watched over by trained lifeguards. The Aqua Park, Monkey Park & Siam Park (themed water park opened September 2008) are all close by.Night time brings a feeling of tranquillity, where you can relax with a meal & glass of wine while watching the sun set over the Island of La Gomera, or you could hit the night life of Las Americas a short taxi ride away.

Additional information about rental rates

  • 2009 Rates average £240 per week, Christmas & New Year goes up to £300 per week for two people and we usually only take bookings for two weeks at that time to cover the Christmas and New Year period. The rental rate is £240 per week for two people and £20 per week for each extra person per week to cover the extra cleaning, towel & linen change. There is £50 per week deposit on booking.
  • In the apartment is a micro-wave, there is a hair drier and an iron & full size ironing board. There are sun-beds on our spacious balcony as well as free on the communal terrace. The apartment is cleaned before arrival & includes a towel & linen change after 1 week if staying for longer any additional cleans require additional charges. there is a weekly barbecue run by the hotel, including entertainment, incurred a 12 Euro charge per person. The Internet facilities are in the hotel reception, which for a small charge you have full use. All hotel facilities are available for you to use. Car hire can be organised by the hotel & sometimes parking is included in the price.
  • The Santa Maria is situated a couple of minutes from the beaches of La Pinta and Torviscas, and the bars and night-life of Puerto Colon and Fanabe. It has its own restaurant and poolside snack-bar, three swimming pools (one is a children's pool), tennis court, nightly entertainment, licensed bar, kids club, roof-top sun terrace, hairdressers, internet access and launderette

Home Comforts For you.: The television in the living area receives ITV, BBC1, BBC2, CH4, Euro Sport, Sky Sports and CNN amongst others. A recordable DVD player with a collection of Dvds and a CD/Radio player with some Cd's are available for you to use and there are two electric fans within the living area. There is also a collection of drinks available, please feel free to use. Please feel free to read the books provided, but it would be appreciated if you have to take one home to finish if you could leave one in its place.

Please note we only accommodate couples and families, no single sex groups please.

The Aqua Park, Monkey Park and the new Siam Park ( themed water park open 2008) are all situated close by.

Stayed at the above apartment for 1 week,with my husband 2 daughters and daughters boyfriend.This apartment was very clean,comfortable, well maintained and close to the beach loads of shops, bars and restaurants, also had a huge balcony which had the sun most of the day,made it really nice for 5 adults, just what we had hoped for.We had excellent customer service and so much advice from both Steve and Carol, as we had not been to tenerife before,they e-mailed a list of places to go,places to eat, and as i like Motown music were able to tell us several bars who have Motown acts, Their advice was superb.
We would like to rent this apartment again in the future and would most certainly recommend to any one going to tenerife.
We did 2 trips -Loro Parque which we really enjoyed,but we were not that keen on the travel,hours on the coach! and a trip up the mountain which was really enjoyable.
We found the people to be very friendly and had good service when eating out.
We would not book a holiday through a travel agent again,the whole booking process of this holiday was made so easy by the owners of this apartment,they also told us what to do for transport at the other end. Thank you to Steve and Carol.

stayed in this fantastic apt with my mother and she loved it as she was in a wheelchair and was happy with the television in her room and how lovely it was i have taken a while to put my review in as she passed away i have been going to apts in tenerife for years now and this one was excellent thanku for all your help a holiday to remember hope to be back soon

eal home from home,Steve & Carol have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. The apartment is light and airy, sun all day long. Just as decribed exellent customer serice made booking very easy. I would certainly recommend and will definetly enquire to book again. Thanks for everything

Santa Maria - Xmas & New Year 2008

Just returned from Tenerife where I stayed in this apartment for 3 weeks over Christmas and New Year - it was fantastic. It was lovely - spacious and clean as per the description on the website.
The balcony got the sun all day long and had loungers on. It is in an excellent location and is about a 2 minute walk from the beach where you will find lots restaurants to eat in all at reasonable prices.
Excellent communication with the owners since booking the room early last year.
I would recommend the Santa Maria complex as being suitable for all. There was a lovely Chinese restaurant down in Puerto Colon called the Slow-Boat.
To summarise, this place is like home from home as it has everything that you’ll need. Thanks very much Steve & Carol.

This is one of the best apartments we have stayed in with a huge balcony which gets sun for most of the day, no need for the mad rush for sunbeds, there are four on the balcony.Well equipped and very clean, we intended to book straight away for next year but unfortunately it is already booked when we want to go.Overall an excellent apartment in a great location.
