This larger than average villa has 2 spacious bedrooms with built in wardrobes and two bathrooms - one being ensuite with large, modern walk-in shower to the master bedroom. Facilities inside the villa include air-conditioning to lounge and master bedroom, free view British TV and a fully fitted kitchen which gives direct access to the rear of the property, where there is a large eating area with glorious views over open countryside and of the private swimming pool situated in a beautiful secluded garden. The garden is unique in that it has the surprise of having a secluded, secret garden with tranquil water feature. This really is a garden-lover''s paradise. The numerous plants and clever design provide many welcome shady spots and the pergola provides a perfect base for the hammock. This is truly an outside area for total relaxation. The villa has a large parking area to the front offering parking for numerous vehicles.

The villa is located in an quiet village, at the end of a cul de sac backing onto hills and open countryside. There are numerous walks, both short and longer distances which are part of the Bahia Verde walking network which are accessible directly from the villa without need of a car. There are distant sea views including the Bay of Cadiz and San Fernando. Whilst being extremely tranquil and secluded, a local bar/restaurant and supermarket (serving fresh baked, hot bread) are within easy walking distance. There is a regular bus service to the town of Chiclana which can be reached in under 10 minutes and Jerez airport is just 25 minutes drive away. The Blue Flag awarded beach of La Barrosa is only 20 minutes away by car. The area is extremely convenient for the historical city of Cadiz (20 minutes), Seville with its many tourist attractions (1 hour 15 minutes) Gibraltar with its fabulous tax free shopping and the unmissable visit to the Rock and the Apes (1 hour 15 minutes).

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rental price includes pre-arrival cleaning plus one set of linen/towels per bed, electricity, gas, water, welcome pack and over-seeing services of local agents. Bookings of under one week incur a 70 Euro surcharge.
  • 30% non-refundable deposit payable on booking by bank transfer, remainder of rent due 6 weeks before occupation of the property. If at time of booking 6 weeks is not remaining until occupation, full payment of rent is payable at time of booking. Security deposit of 300 euros/GBP to be paid with balance of rental payment. This deposit will be returned via the banking system not more than two weeks after departure as long as no damage / breakages are found.
  • A surcharge of 70 euros is payable on stays of less than 7 days. The villa is available from 3pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on departure day unless an extension is agreed in advance with Chiclana Rentals.

GOLF: Golf courses closeby are: 7 minute drive - Villa Nueva Golf, Puerta Real 25 minute drive -Novo Sancti Petri, La Loma de Sancti Petri, Melia, Campano, Royal Sherry and Montecastillo (both Jerez) 45 minutes - Montemedio (Vejer) and Benalup.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS: Airport transfers can be arranged from Jerez, Gibraltar, Malaga and Seville. Please request information and up to date prices should you require this service.

RENTAL BICYCLES: Rental bicycles are available on request. There are many specified cycle lanes in and around Chiclana and cycling in the area is becoming more and more popular. This area offers both on and off road cycling and caters for all levels from families looking for fun, relaxing rides to more serious mountain cyclists. Those looking for more of a cycling holiday may be interested in the Via Verde route at Olvera which is some 36 kms of disused railway track which has been especially developed for cyclists and walkers. My husband and 6mnth old daughter stayed at this villa in july 2008, the villa is extremely spacious and tidy with modern decor, beautiful views and a safe environment for kids of all ages.

We hired a car from Jerez which is only 25 mins away and travelled in and around the area, the beach at La Barossa (20mins) with its resturants and bars alongside the seafront was wonderful,
A day trip to Gibralta (1.30hrs) (tax free shopping for the girls!) We had a day at the water park just 20mins down the road, brilliantly set up for families with children including babies.

In the evening and the odd days of not sightseeing, we relaxed in the beautiful garden, even if your not a gardener you will appreciate the calmness it installs upon you, There is also a very beautiful romantic secret garden.
In the morning's we would walk to a nearby venta and bring back freshly baked bread for breakfast.
The pool has a large patio area next to it, which is shaded, and then a another patio area which is raised, overlooks the hills behind the villa, the wildlife you see over the back is amazing.

We are about to book another two weeks in september as we enjoyed our stay so much.
I would thoughly recommend this villa to couple's or families wanting something of origanal Spain.
The owner was extremely helpful and guided us to places of interest.

This villa is in the most wonderful location for a relaxing holiday but also very central for all kinds activities. The children loved the water park just 20 mins away and we spent some great days on the beach which is amazing. The villa was well equipped and the rental agent was very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. We would certainly return to the villa again as it was very comfortable with a gorgeous garden in a lovely rural area.
