5 minutes from URBANIA which has very good food shops and restaurants. It also has a fine ducal palace and museum. URBANIA also offers many courses to visitors, including painting and drawing, Italian language and culture, ceramics, opera singing, etc. 20 min from URBINO a stunning renaissance university city with ducal palace and collection of paintings inc. by Piero della Francesca and Raphael; good restaurants and shops. 1 hour from GUBBIO, beautiful Umbrian city with much to see. Just over 1 hour from SAN SEPOLCRO, delightful Tuscan town with museum and pictures by Piero della Francesca, excellent restaurants. 50min from incredible mountain walks. 40min from sea at FANO.

We stayed with friends for about a week in August 2008 and had a great time. The flat is very nice and cozy, big enough for 4 adults. The location is great, the view amazing. Once you find your way up the hidden dirt road you won't regret it.
Quite a lot of sights are close by, shopping is good and convenient, and even the trip to the beaches doesn't take too long.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children

A comfortable, tastefully furnished apartment located in a beautiful part of Italy. The surrounding mountain scenery is wonderfully lush and there are many spectacular views, especially from the hillside track which leads to the property.
The owner, an accomplished artist who lives in the adjoining apartment, is very friendly and helpful, as are her two charming young daughters.
A car is essential to explore the area - the nearest town of Urbania is very attractive.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - a perfect place for a relaxing holiday.

Peaceful beautiful and Relaxing

My Partner and I spent a week with Isabelle in July 2008.

The accomodation is comfortable, clean and the views are breathtaking.

Isabelle is friendly and informative about the area and although she lives under the holiday accomodation it has been done in such a way that unless you need her you would think you it was detached.

Resturants in the area serve super food and drink all reasonably priced. Supermarkets are just a short trip away into the village where you will find the people friendly and helpful.

Views from the bedroom are out of this world looking over the mountains with the range of colours etc not to mention the wildlife in the garden, squirrels owls etc.

I highly recommend this property sitting in the garden sipping a glass of wine watching the sun set.

Brilliant and would look to return next year.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
