THE FLAT. The apartment 'Cà Paradiso' is a residential flat furnished in a refined style and ideally located, in Salizzada San Lio, just three minutes walking from the Rialto Bridge and Saint Mark Square. The apartment 'Cà Paradiso' (60 mq), easily reachable by public and private transport, consists of: an entrance, a living-room with two comfortable sofas, a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area, two double rooms, one bathroom with a shower. The apartment has a wonderful canal view: it overlooks a picturesque canal passed by a lot of gondolas. The apartment, completely refurnished in 2007, is at the first floor, is air-conditioned and has a washing machine. The flat is quiet despite being in a central location. Also, a few steps away from the apartment, there are a large well stocked supermarket, a bakery, a fresh fruit and veg shop and also one of the best ice cream parlours in Venice. Having all these facilities on the doorstep, particularly the supermarket, is a great advantage.

Our apartment is situated in the very hearth of the old town city, in the lively Salizzada San Lio, just a few steps from Rialto Bridge and St. Mark Square. How to arrive: usually we meet our guests at the Rialto Bridge. How to get to the Rialto Bridge from Piazzale Roma: take the line 82 of the public water bus (“vaporetto”) and get off at Rialto (about 12 minutes). We will be there waiting for You and in 3 minutes we will bring You at the flat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this appartment, particularly the views over the canal. There was always something going on and it was great being part of the city whilst breakfasting and washing up. The property was furnished in keeping with its age and was spotlessly clean. For the purists, the floors sloped slightly but we didn't find that a problem. The owners were friendly and helpful and the location was perfect for sightseeing. Have no hesitation in recommending this appartment.
