Myramar is a modern small complex completed in 2002. It´s a spacious and fully modern furnished 3 bedrooms, 2 complete bathrooms apartment. Master bedroom's balcony overlooks communal pools (2 for adults and 2 for children) and colourful gardens. Large living room with a wonderful side sea view terrace which is equipped with garden table and chairs. The living room has 3+2 seater sofas & extra chairs for the whole family and a dining area for 8 people. The modern fitted kitchen has a fridge, freezer, hob, extractor fan, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster... It´s plenty of cutlery, cooking, glasses and serving equipment. The separate utility room contains washing machine, iron and ironing board. Secure underground parking with lift access to the apartment is available.

Arroyo de la Miel , Benalmadena, is a lovely town with bars, restaurants, shops, nights clubs The apartment is situated in a quiet area close to all amenities. TOURISTC BUS STOP and bus line stop is only 50 metres away, 500m to a large supermarket, 10min walking to the centre of the village and rail station (Málaga-Fuengirola line with services every 20 minutes), a small tourist road train runs between ' Puerto Marina' and Tivoli World (children´s Theme Park only 10min walking) and Cable Car, 15 minutes from the airport, 5 min from the beach. Other attractions: Water Park, Crocodile Park, Sea Life, Selwo Marina and numerous golf courses: Benalmadena Golf, Torrequebrada Golf (2 km).

Notes: Toaster and electric kettle are available in the kitchen too; One ceiling fan for keeping cool in summer although it is not necessary if you open the windows and balcony and terrace. Radiators in winter included too. The utility room contains washing machine, iron and ironing board. Travel cot available. There are 2 beautiful large pools and also two children's pools. Both are supervised by a lifeguard in summer. There are toilet/changing facilities by the pool. Large gardens with paddle pool. Table and 6 chairs are on the attached terrace with sea view. Smoke only permitted on the living room terrace and master room balcony. A change of bed linen and towels is provided at the end of each week, if you would like maid service more frequently we can provided it with an extra charge. Changeover day is flexible although weekend are preferred. Children´s toys and DVDs.

PLACES OF INTEREST, EXCURSIONS: There are a wide range of excursions you could enjoy from Benalmádena. In any travel agency in The Costa del Sol, you can book Day trips to Gibraltar, Tangier, Ronda and Marbella. You could spend too a nice day hiring a car and making a fantastic trip to Seville, Granada or Córdoba which are about 2 hours driving away. There are some companies which operate regular boat trips to Málaga and Fuengirola from the port of Benalmadena. In Benalmadena, you will visit 'the best marina of the world ; its a shopping centre, bars and restaurants with spectacular and amazing views.

GOLF INFORMATION: Torrequebrada Golf: it´s a 18 hole home course of multiple European PGA tournament winner and rider Cup player Miguel Angel Jimenez. Benalmádena Golf: It´s a 9 hole course with amazing sea views. There you can enjoy of a wonderful views and relaxing dinner on the restaurant terrace . Mijas Golf: There are two 18 hole golf courses. There is a choice of 15 other courses within one hour drive.

We spent a very enjoyable holiday at this apartment (July '08). The owners were lovely and extremely helpful. The apartment was clean, comfortable, well equipped and was as described. However, the sea view as pictured has been replaced by a rather noisy, 4 story building site. The garden and pools were very pretty and well maintained.

The only drawback was the lack of air conditioning. There were no ceiling fans and that made sleeping at night uncomfortable.


The local supermarket was a short walk from the apartment and was well stocked with a great selection of fresh fish and fruit & veg,- NB it is closed on Sundays. There was also a lovely little bakery just down from the appartment which served great cafe con leche.

A set of steps down through the Park de Miel take you to the road leading to the main town of Arroyo de la Miel where there are numerous cafes, bars and restaurants. Its an easy 10 minute stroll down but a bit of a climb back up, we opted for a taxi home at night (Approx 4 euro)!

Tivoli World was a big hit with our children as was the Aquapark. The Marina in Benalmadena is nice to visit and has the sealife centre nearby. The local bus service is regular and is an inexpensive way to get around.

Overall I would recommend a holiday here to friends and will probably return with my family.

Property is close to all amenities but away from hustle & bustle that is now Benalmadena, Private underground car parking is a big plus and grounds & pool well maintained, Unfortunately the main sea view from terrace has been replaced by new block of apartments still being built. Apartment is well equiped if a little small for 6 people. Owners very helpful and will give you lots of local info. Supermarket & motorway to Malaga airport close by, also large park & plenty of shops & restaurants.
