Villa Arrendajos is an immaculate 3 bed villa with private pool set in a pretty garden with a large tiled patio. There is plenty of space for sunbathing,for kids to play and for you to hone your skills on the bbq. For shaded dining there is a gazebo and a covered terrace. Benimar is near the old Spanish town of Rojales, 30 mins approx.from Alicante or San Javier airports. The beautiful, quiet, safe Blue Flag sandy beaches of Guardamar are 10 min drive away, as are the bustling beaches of Torrevieja. La Marquesa and La Finca are among the numerous golf courses in the area. Other activities available locally are crazy golf, go-karting, bowls, ten-pin bowling, aqua parks, horse-riding, tennis, gym, scuba diving and jet-skiing. Terra Mitica and Aqualandia theme parks are about an hour’s drive away. Restaurants catering for all tastes are within a 5 min walk, and new for summer 09 will be an entertainment complex. A great summer rental for relaxing family holidays or golfers all year round.

Benimar Urbanisation is close by the old Spanish towns of Rojales and Benijofar, giving a fusion of modern amenities and traditional customs. There are many bars and restaurants within walking distance - English, French, Spanish, Italian, Indian, Chinese, Tex Mex. A new eating/entertainment complex is opening for summer 09. There are traditional local fiestas with parades, music and fireworks and many local markets. For shopaholics there are huge malls in Murcia, Alicante and Elche. Torrevieja and Guardamar, both about a ten minute drive away, provide a more traditional shopping experience. The nearest beaches are also here. Torreviejas beaches are bustling and those of Guardamar have loads of space on the sand for playing games, even at the height of the summer. The area is very well served with golf courses, including La Finca and La Marquesa. There are places to walk, cycle or horse ride. There are museums and historical sites to visit too.

The third bedroom has a metal triple bunk with a double futon at the bottom and a single matress on top. There is a tall chest and built-in wardrobe. The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom, which has a bath with shower over, bidet, toilet and handbasin.

Notes: There are a two steps in from the gate and three steps up to the villa so not really wheelchair accessible but ok for those who can manage a few steps - my 90 year old mother manages fine. We welcome long term renters from 1st October to May 31st. Please ask about rental rates.

Beautifull, light airy and very very clean villa on urbanisation (mostly English residents) short walk to supermarket and a variety of bars/restaurants. Champions at top of hill (!!) great breakfast and evening meals - TJ's at bottom of hill 3 course Sunday Lunch 10.50 euros.
If your wanting to see the Island or go shopping hire a car, market in the next village after Formentera on Sat has great bargains, shopping complex outside Torrevieja modern/air conditioned. Owner welcomed us at villa and even took us to the large supermarket to get our first shop as we hadnt hired a car straight away. Car/bike hire not open on weekends which was only draw back. Would recommend hire car from airport as taxi 65 euros
