Three rooms apartment: 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, living room with double sofa-bed, kitchen with equipment, bathroom, veranda with table and chairs, barbecue, garden and private car park place. The apartment has a wonderful view to the Asinara golf and is placed in the beautiful Mediterranean vegetation. We are in Valledoria, a beautiful town just 45 km from Sassari. Valledoria is placed right in the middle of the north coast so we are halfway from all the most beautiful places of Sardinia, although is a good place if you want to have some trip. Anyway we are in a wonderful place, here is the mouth of the river 'Coghinas'. In the river are available surfing, windsurfing and sky surfing courses, is possible also to make a trips in canoe. Valledoria has 20 km of beach and a clean, blue sea. The town is nice and in the summer there are events every evening. You can reach Valledoria by plane or ferry. You are welcome.

We are in the middle of the north coast of Sardinia, halfway from Olbia and Alghero. In Valledoria there are many facilities: shopping centre's, information points, internet point, restaurants, bars, children's play grounds, park's. 20km of beach. Near Valledoria there are also museums and monuments of the history of Sardinia.

Perfect location for relaxing holidays!

We, a group of 5 people in our early twenties from Austria were looking for a nice place to stay to make expeditions to different beaches to find good spots to play volleyball and relax and to go surfing. We succeeded and had a really nice stay. It has to be mentioned that you need a car in order to explore different beaches as we did. Highlights were:
The nice reception when we first arrived: Although it was after midnight we were offered drinks and food, which was really convenient after our journey.
The breakfast buffet which we could have for a payment of 5 Euros per day, although we were not staying in the hotel but in the appartment. It was really convenient to drive the three minutes from the appartment to the hotel to enjoy breakfast on the terrace with an outstanding oceanview being served by very nice, polite and exerted people and drinking delicious Italian cappuccino.
The beautiful view and the amazing surroundings of the appartment as well as the little back garden where you could barbecue.
Of course it is helpful to be prepared for things like mosquitos (we had candles against mosquitos when we were sitting outside and plug-in mosquito killers for the night). Everything else we needed we bought in one of the supermarkets in Valledoria or near Badesi.

Lovely quiet setting, but close to everything

Stayed in August 2009. Good location for a familly holiday or a group looking for a quiet base, Whilst not a "luxury" villa we thought it was good value as quite a bit of space both inside and especially outside. Everything was clean & worked. best bit was the large private garden surrounded by orchards / small holding farmland, horses etc Lovely to have a BBQ in the garden in the evening.

The location is pretty quiet. Its about 15mins walk to a small supermarket in the local village which has freshly baked bread, a proper butcher and and a pretty good deli. There is also a fantastic farm shop in the village for fresh fruit and vegetables , jams and home made limoncello.

The owner who lives a few hundred metres away is charming and speaks good English.

You DO NEED a car if you stay here but with a car in 10mins you can get to the lovely beach at La Pinetta and many reasonably priced pizzeria's and restaurants. There is free parking at all the beaches.

There is a new familly hotel just opened a few hundred metres from the house. It wasn't doing lunch/dinner yet but when fully open will provide a "local" within walking distance.

PS :- Best pizza in town by a mile (and they were all good) was Pizza Idea in Valledoria. Its packed every night though and the waitresses are run off their feet. A madhouse. Sometimes you have a long wait but trust me its worth it.

There are many other beaches and towns worth a visit all less than 30mins in the car. Castelsardo for the castle. Isola Rossa for white sand sheltered beach. Also for those with children the waterpark at Isola Rossa is a treat, built into the hillside overlooking the bay.

be prepared!!!!

The property was clean....apart from the oven. When my husband switched the oven on numerous insects came scuttling out of it!!!!!The views from the terrace are great...the lovely sunset made the stay! There is no welcome pack included...no water,tea,coffee,milk,toilet rolls.washing up liquid or even kettle!!!A balancing act is required for the toilet seat and the bed settee is an accident waiting to happen. Mosquitoes are a big problem I managed 32 bites in 1 night! Oh and none smokers need a lighter or matches to light the oven - we had to go and buy one !However if you want a nice quiet retreat this could be for you !!!!!
