The studio is located in a modern building, on the first floor directly behind the Grand Hotel on the Croisette in the heart of Cannes. Close to the beach (1 min), shops, restaurants and the Palais des Festivals (4mins). An excellent choice for both Holidays and Business travellers. The studio sleeps 2 on a comfy sofa bed which is made up for your arrival. If two people wish to sleep separately, I can supply a single aerobed which inflates automatically when plugged in, at an additional cost. The studio is fully air conditioned; opposite the sofa bed is a large flat screen TV and DVD Player. Large glass doors lead out to a South facing terrace with a table and chairs perfect for alfresco dining. It receives sun all day, making the apartment light and airy. The bathroom is modern, well lit and has a great power shower. Towels and basic toiletries are also supplied. The kitchen is also new and fully equipped with Fridge/Freezer, microwave, hob etc.

The studio is situated in the central part of Cannes known as 'le banane', located between the Rue Moliere and Rue Victor Cousin, and directly behind the Grand Hotel, 45 Boulevard de la Croisette. Being part of the Grand Hotel complex the studio benefits from having 24 hour security and a concierge. It is a perfect location close to everything Cannes has to offer. Less than 30 seconds away from the Rue D'Antibes (The 'Oxford Street' of Cannes) and a minutes walk to the beach. Its also a perfect location if you are staying for a congress or festival; only a 4 minute walk to the Palais des Festival and perfect for entertaining clients in the Grand Hotel's bar and restaurant. There are also many other restaurants and bars around the corner from the apartment in the Rue du Bateguier and a plethora of resturants moments away on the Croisette (seafront).     I also ask for a 500euro damage deposit. This is accepted by a credit card authorisation on your arrival at my agency in Cannes. It may be possible to send a cheque but please enquire. Funds will be returned if all is well once the apartment has been cleaned and checked for damage.

  • The bathroom is brand new and was installed Jan '08. It has a great power shower, is well lit and fresh towels and toiletries are provided on every guests arrival. If you require the studio to be cleaned during your stay this can be arranged at extra cost.

  • Bedroom 1 - 1 Sofa bed/Futon, The sofa bed is very comfortable and easily folded back
  • The sofa bed sleeps 2 and is very comfy. It is made up on arrival and then gives you the flexibility of having the floorspace with a sofa in the daytime and the bed for the evenings. Its a studio apartment so accommodates two people perfectly, however if you don't mind sharing or would prefer to sleep separately I can provide a self inflating aerobed and bedding for another person if needed. It inflates automatically when plugged into the socket in 3 minutes (no puffing needed!) and lays similar to a futon. There is an additional cost for this, please contact me for more details. The studio has a large wall mounted flat screen TV and a DVD player. Glass doors lead out onto the South facing terrace, which has a table and chairs and receives sun all day. The room also has an air conditioning and heating unit.

Notes: You can pick up many WIFI hotspots, it is payable via an SFR WiFi card bought in shops or directly on the internet. There are many free wireless cafes and places you can access the internet for free, please contact me or check out my website for more details. Many people use the area outside the Town Hall (Hotel de Ville) where there are places to sit and its fairly quiet there. Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment or in the building. Please don't smoke. To book the studio please email me to confirm the dates are available. Funds are then transferred to French bank account. You can do this from any UK bank. When this is completed you will receive a booking confirmation and directions to the studio from Nice Airport. If you require an airport pick-up/drop off this can be organised, please contact me. Flying to Nice from the UK: Flights to Nice are with Easyjet, British Airways and Air France. EASYJET is the cheapest most of the time and they fly from Belfast, Bristol, Liverpool, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, Newcastle direct. BRITISH AIRWAYS fly from Heathrow and Gatwick and AIR FRANCE fly out of City Airport. Midweek flights are cheapest, if you want to go for a long weekend (Thurs - Mon) book early to get the best deals.

Hiring a Car: You don't need to hire a car if you are staying at the studio as its in the centre of Cannes and everything is on your doorstep. However if you do want to explore the Cote D'Azur and go on a few road trips, do not book your car through Europcar as the queues can be over a hour long at Nice Airport. If you want an affordable 'automatic' car, I would recommend National Car.

Cancellation Policy: 8 weeks before arrival date: 30% of rental. 6 weeks before arrival date: 50% of rental. Less than 4 weeks before arrival date: 100% rental.

I enjoyed to stay in Cannes. I founded the apartment very clean and it was very nice and confortable. I liked so much the position in the centre of Cannes, that I didn't need to use my car. I think I'm going to return next year.

The location is perfect. Between Palais where I went during the day and Martinez where I went at night. It's much more interesting than stay in a hotel.

Hi Caroline, Just wanted to say that we had a wonderful holiday in the Cannes apartment. The apartment is ideally situated and we would certainly be looking at booking again in the future. We both love the south of France and have spent many happy holdiays there. On arrival and leaving the apartment, we dealt with Arnold and we would just like to say how helpful he was.
