Located in the centre of Praia da Luz, with panoramic views to the stunning sandy beaches just a short walk away, is our spacious and recently renovated 3Bedroom Penthouse apartment. The renovation was done to a modern standard but still with a very homely feel.

The apartment is accessed via an elevator which is key-operated to the apartment’s 5th floor, giving it total privacy.

Entering the apartment you come to a light filled ample lounge overlooking the whole of Praia da Luz. It’s patio doors give access to a south facing sun terrace which curves around the west side of the house serving the office and 2 bedrooms.

The 2 Double en-suite bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom all with superb views, built in wardrobes and access to terraces provide sleeping accommodation for 6.

A Large Kitchen fully equipped that leads to an east facing terrace overlooking beaches with exterior dining facilities for 6.

The Praia da Luz village is very well provided with beautiful beaches, cliffs, historical features and a selection of restaurants of international cuisine all within a short walk.

Boa Vista is the closest golf course to the apartment, approximately 10 mins drive away. It is an 18 hole course with lovely views over the Atlantic.

There is a motorway, the A22, connecting you to the hole of the Algarve and even Spain. Car hire is not essential, a shuttle bus will drop you off outside the apartment from the airport and there is an hourly bus service along the coast. Trains are slow but very cheap. Most people will speak some English.

There are also many organized tours from Lagos to Gibraltar, Seville, and Lisbon etc.

Lagos is the nearest town about 4 miles to the east, excellent for shopping and night life with bars, restaurants plus the marina and extensive beaches. Cape St. Vincent is the most SW point in Europe it is 15 miles to the west.

Notes: The apartment is suitable for disabled use as there are virtually no steps in the access from the street or within the property making it suitable for wheelchair access. but not suitable for very young children as it is on the 5th floor. The apartment is managed by a local company and all our guests are met by a representative that will be available during the stay and provide help where necessary. We have two extremely good super markets within 100 meters walk. The nearest pool open to the public is the Luna Luz Bay Club. This is a 4 star hotel at the entrance of Luz. The price (in 2011) is 7.50€/day for adults and is half price for children.

The course at Boavista Golf Resort opened in January 2002 and quickly became established as one of the Western Algarve’s premier courses. This impressive 18 hole championship course offers exceptional playing conditions and was designed by Howard Swan a renowned UK based architect.

Boavista offers two distinct parts – the Resort Section (the 1st to the 3rd and the 13th to the 18th) and the Country Section (the 4th to the 12th) – which provide a variety of attractive and interesting holes. From the first tee shot to the last putt, the course offers an enjoyable range of very individual golf holes which offer varying challenges for all levels of golfer. The par 3’s are particularly strong and no golfer who has played over the ravine at the 194 metre 6th will ever forget the experience. From holes 13 to 17, water features, which form part of the irrigation system, have been added and they provide a safe haven for the wildfowl which now abounds in the area.

Breathtaking views, spectacular scenery and the crystal clear Atlantic Ocean, which is visible from most holes, all combine to make this course a delight for the golfer and visitor alike.
