A charming traditional Hydra home sleeping four in comfort. With wonderful sea views from the terrace and lots of charming features this is a delightful place to escape from the pressures of modern life and enjoy a relaxed simple holiday. Perfect for couples and families, the house has two bedrooms, a dining room, living room, traditional style kitchen and kitchen with hip-bath and shower over. The original character of the house has been carfully preserved and there are original features everywhere - wooden ceilings, original tiles, a stone sink in the kitchen and period furniture. The house is situated above Kamini village on Hydra island. Hydra is unique among the Greek islands as it has no motorised traffic - donkeys are used to carry everything - and all houses are built in the traditional manner. Hydra is a stunning Greek island ideal for relaxation and a quiet escape from the pressures of modern life. With no cars or motorbikes the pace of life is slow and tranquil. The house is situated above Kamini village, in a quiet area of the island but still close to the main town. Hydra is served by frequesnt hydrofoils from Athens, and is easy to get to. There are excellent tavernas and some good bars and cafes. Lots of places to swim including some sandy beaches and lots of rocky cliffs to dive off! This is a wonderful family holiday destination where you can really relax and take time out...
