This self-catering home includes a comfortable sitting room complete with TV, DVD, broadband internet access, and teak day bed, adjoining a full bathroom/bath. All the amenities of a great holiday home are provided. A renovated Provençal style kitchen, fully equipped with new Siemens stove, oven, dishwasher, full sized fridge and microwave, adds ease and comfort to your stay. The dining area with fireplace opens to a sunny terrace overlooking our garden in the quiet Provençal Village of Saint Gély. Dining on the rose covered terrace, overlooking the 4m by 10m kidney shaped pool and spacious garden, is a romantic way to end your busy day. The garden is surrounded by a three metre high hedge that provides privacy and safety for small children. This Provençal Stone Home is an excellent holiday accommodation for any family or group of up to six adults.

The Mediterranean is 1 hour 20 minutes away, and the Camargue, only 1 hour. The endless areas of wild and highly contoured countryside around offer innumerable walks. Minutes from Ardèche with its full range of summer water sports and activities. Historic Roman towns nearby include Uzès, Le Pont du Gard, and Orange both within 30 minutes. Avignon is a lovely city with many tasteful boutiques namely in the Place du Palais. The large square in front of the Popes Palace is easy to find, and an entertaining place to visit with attractive outdoor restaurants, bars, and bistros. St Gely and nearby picturesque villages of Goudargues, Roque sur Cèze and Cornillon, all host energetic summer village festivals with enjoyment for all ages. Chateau-Neuf as well as a plethera of wine tasting cellars in the immediate area. The Bagnols sur Cèze Festival du Terroir is a great venue.

Hi Doug & Claudette,

We would truly like to thank you for the wonderful time that we enjoyed at your house in St Gely. The house and all the amenities are fantastic and as described. It has everything and more that you need on holiday and is very spacious and clean. The pool especially is great and relaxing. The village itself is charming and picturesque. The Auberge restaurant and Wine cellar with shop and tasting are lovely. Goudargue the next village at 3km has all amenities and it is a lovely walk and has many shops and restaurants. We also did not know how lovely this area of France was with the rivers to canoe in and the vineyards and gorges. There are many cities and places of interest to visit and the beaches are only an hours drive to. This is definitely a holiday rental and area that we would want to return to. We will also be recommending this to our friends. Thank you.
