This is a beautiful and rare restored mill house set in its own extensive, unspoilt grounds which provide a distinctive and romantic natural setting. It has a lawned garden front, wild garden back, and a fruit orchard. A small tributary of the main river runs in front of the house. There are many lovely walks in the area. Although in a rural setting, it is very well situated close to amenities such as shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and great local markets. There are numerous leisure facilities close by such as watersports, horse riding and golf. The beaches are safe and uncrowded. It is within 30 minutes of the historic towns of Dinard, Dinan and St.Malo.

Beautiful Tranquil mill house set in its own grounds in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Close to the stunning coastline and uncrowded beaches of Cap Frehel (7miles). The house has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 6. There is a lawned garden front and back with a small bief (tributary of river) running in front of the house and a fruit orchard. Restaurants, cafes, shops are within easy reach (5-10 min by car). Within 35-40min of historic towns of Dinan, Dinard and St.Malo. Close to golf courses, lovely walks, markets. Diving, swimming, tennis, sailing, cycling, horse riding, windsurfing close by.

Facilities: The mill is situated within easy distance of many good restaurants, cafes, creperies, bars markets and shops- all within 10 to 30 min.

Leisure: The mill is situated close to the famous pink Granite coastline with its miles of beautiful uncrowded beaches. Swimming, diving, tennis,sailing, windsurfing, Kayaking, cycling, walking, fishing, horse riding (beach and country), golf (3 courses), markets, galleries, potteries. There are 3 good golf courses. Sable D'or, St.Cast le Guildo and Dinard. It is within 30 minutes of the historic towns of Dinard, Dinan and St.Malo as well as many interesting towns along the coast.

Travel: Dinard airport (Ryanair)-30min. St.Malo port-40 min. Cherbourg-2 1/2 hours. Roscoff-1 1/2 hours. The mill is located in a rural area so a car is necessary unless you are keen cyclists!

The Mill and location was as described, quite stunning. In normal circumstances this may be ok for a family holiday involving small children, although property is unfenced and on a small quiet road, but due to the rain which had fallen for weeks the small stream on the property was a raging torrent several feet deep [ unfenced ] and the lawns were under water. This was ok for the first week but a nightmare when our daughter arrived with her 2 year old son!!!! On the plus side our 2 Labradors were in doggy heaven! Overall we loved it and Jenny, who looks after the cottage, was delightful.We would definitely go back with the dogs but NOT chidren.
