The charming resorts of Los Arenales del Sol is only 5 mins drive away. Santa Pola (5 mins south) is a beautiful old fishing town, which is home to one of the largest fishing fleets in the Mediterranean. Alicante (10 minutes drive away) is a fabulous international city with designer shops, old castle, lively port and marina, theatres, cinemas, bullring and famous promenade and parks to visit. On top of Gran Alacant there are a number of Shops/Restaurants/Bars with a busy and interesting market on Thursdays. Benidorm, the Terra Mitica and other theme parks plus several golf courses are within an hour's drive. Elche with its leather factory outlets is 20min drive inland.
