'Le Noyer' is a traditional stone charentaise farmhouse, spacious with good sized rooms throughout so ideal for family holidays sleeping anything from 2 persons up to a maximum of 8/10, a real home from home, set in a small quiet hamlet yet only 5min from shops and other facilities required for day to day living.The farmhouse has a large fitted kitchen/dining room with wood burner, large lounge with stone slab floor, fireplace with wood burner, TV, downstairs bedroom, downstairs shower room + vanity unit, seperate WC. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, one with a double, family room with 2 doubles + a single, one with 2 boat beds (120cm), there is a bathroom with vanity unit, seperate WC, a shower room + vanity unit + WC, there are two staircases.There are good gardens, BBQ, sun loungers + other garden furniture, covered terrace + large open terrace area leading onto the large swimming pool which is fenced off and has an alarm. An excellent base for exploring the many local treasures.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A deposit of 25% of the total cost of your holiday is required at the time of booking - paid by bankers draft or bank transfer and a final payment of the rest 28days prior to your arrival date (see further on..) Booking form to be completed, dated and signed by the head member of your party, accepting the booking terms and conditions as specified on behalf of the full party of occupants for the period reserved. The booking form is accessed via the brochure / website or on request can be emailed directly
    Alternatively direct bank transfers are acceptable providing there are no transfer fees applicable upon receipt.
    A dustbin deposit of 100euros should be added to each booking period, to be held and carried over and returned within 28days of the end of your holiday if no fines are incurred from re-cycling procedures and also covers breakages deposit and damaged linen.
    Linen can be supplied on supplement charge of 15euros double/10euros single.
  • Payment in is EUROS:-
    You are advised to order an International Bankers Draft in Euros for both deposits and final payments from your local bank, these should be made payable to Mrs. R.L. Reid and cash-able in PARIS France, not the UK and posted with your booking form to Mrs R.L. Reid at 'Vergné' 86400 Savigné France, full receipt and confirmation of your booking will be sent by return.
    These Bankers Drafts normally have to be ordered in advance and cost approx £18.
    Cancellations:- If for any reason you have to cancel your booked holiday please contact me asap and I will endeavor to re-book the period reserved by your party. If you cancel, I reserve the right to withhold the full deposit paid and or full final payment, however if I am successful in re-booking your dates then your payment will be returned less any additional advertising costs. You may also try to re-book your own holiday under the same terms and conditions - or transfer your holiday to friends or other relations
  • You are strongly advised to have travel insurance covering this eventuality, especially last minute cancellations.
    Linen supplements are refundable where beds have not been made up in advance.
    You are also advised to take out an insurance for all of your party covering personal belongings, travel, cancellations and particularly health insurance for any medical treatments.
    Any breakages or damages to the property and or its effects caused by members of your party during residency will be charged.

    You will receive full receipts for deposits, final payments, full directions packs, etc.

Please note that linen can be supplied - is on supplement charge of 15euros per double and 10euros per single. Tea-towels are supplied but no bathroom or swimming towels are provided.

A new addition this year is an 'Auberge' farm restaurant in the village, easy walking distance with several different options on menus.
