The Peljesac peninsula - and specifically the village of Postup - has been renowned for the quality of its grapes and wine since Roman times. Due to the many sunny days in Peljesac, the sugar content in the local grapes reaches 22�, the optimum gravity for producing the best Postup wine. At Villa Antonio we have over 7000 vines growing in the vineyard, but we have focused the crop's breeding to produce only two strains of select Postup grapes.
