The vineyard castle hotel Villa Antonio is located near the village of Postup on the southern tip of the Peljesac peninsula, offering picturesque views of the city of Orebic and the Isle of Korcula, birthplace of Marco Polo. The castle sits atop a lush vineyard, boasting a spectacular panorama of the countryside and small islands in the channel. The Peljesac peninsula - and specifically the village of Postup - has been renowned for the quality of its grapes and wine since Roman times. Due to the many sunny days in Peljesac, the sugar content in the local grapes reaches 22�, the optimum gravity for producing the best Postup wine. At Villa Antonio we have over 7000 vines growing in the vineyard, but we have focused the crop's breeding to produce only two strains of select Postup grapes. This specialization allows him to produce a vintage of unanimously judged excellence. Summer holiday rental in Southdalmatia extraordinary and romantic whatever worth visiting anytime.
